Squad Battles... extremely difficult?
So, I’ve been playing fut draft and other modes with the hardest difficulty and it’s quite easy. But squad battles are almost impossible to win for me, you can’t pass further than 2 squares or do anything really, the opponent is very aggressive and succesful at everything really, your players are always slower and react slowly, what is this?Tags: None -
Re: Squad Battles... extremely difficult?
I do a lot of squad battles, here's my plan....
Play them all on Legendary. Ultimate = the opposite team is all 99ovr. They still cheat on Legendary, but it's manageable.
I play the 41212 narrow. Set both LB/RB and CDM to stay back. And you need to use legacy defending.
And the truth is, the CPU cheats. And sometimes the CPU really flips a switch and plays like it's on steroids. All you can do it set it to "Park the Bus" and try to hang on.
I've also seen a lot of people state you need to play with the setting on "Attacking" or "All out" but I just leave it as "Standard" and work from there.
One thing to also remember is that Squad Battles also use Chemistry (which other modes do not) so they will be harder due to that.Steam: BahnzoComment

Re: Squad Battles... extremely difficult?
I play on Legendary; usually I get about 80% ish win average for the week.
I play a 4-3-3 with an attacking mid and 2 wingers. I start balanced and then go attacking midway in the first half. At the 60th minute, if the AI is up 1, tied or down 1 is usually when they go into all attack mode. This is where I go defensive, counter depending on the situation. Since the AI is going all out attack, it is very possible to catch them on break but you have to be careful.
I recommend controlling the CMs/CDMs on defense as much as possible. And sometimes, as Bahnzo said, all you can really do is just try to hang on and absorb the onslaught.Comment
