Major issue of Fifa; biased rating upgrades/downgrades

I’ll speak on behalf of Arsenal as I am an Arsenal fan. We signed a deal with PES and ever since then EA has done everything in their power to push us away from Fifa.

Where as players from City, Liverpool, United, etc. get neat upgrades after one or two good performances, our players can play extremely well for the entire season and still be ignored.

For this season Ramsey and Monreal have played out of their mind; Monreal remains 80 overall and Ramsey 82, with no upgrades. Whenever Monreal has received some upgrade like +1 on finishing, EA has also downgraded some other completely irrelevant stat such as FK accuracy by 3, which was already in 50s.

And now Lacazette has scored 7 in 7 games, Aubameyang has 8 points in 8 games; Laca gets a strength downgrade and Auba ignored.

This sort of bias can’t be any good for EA, so I really don’t get why they continue the ignorance, but I hope there’s someone who could change this as it’s really just killing any motivation to play Fifa.

They finished 6th in the EPL. How is this a "major" issue?

Precisely because of this type of ignorance and attitude. You look at where the team finishes and ignore individual performances. This has been going on for years now.

Take Monreal for instance, clearly impressed the Spanish NT to get picked in over the likes of Alonso, got upgraded in the WC update to 82 overall, whereas his performances were thoroughly ignored during the 17/18 campaign, all though he was having an exceptionally good season.

I mean you keep upgrading Zaha from Crystal Palace, regardless of where Crystal Palace finish. The same should go for every team.

Aubameyang, since joining Arsenal has scored over a point per game, regardless of that he finished with no upgrades at all. Manchester United get upgraded each Fifa for every good game they have. Chelsea's embarrassing campaign two seasons ago saw no downgrades at all.

This type of bias and ignorance is an enormous issue that only kills the fun of career mode, adds neither realism or fun to it.

Your theory falls apart at the fact that Liverpool have a partnership with PES as well.

I have plenty of issues with FIFA's live ratings at times, for example I thought Karius deserved a boost from his play over the second half of the league campaign yet it wasn't there, of course after last Saturday, maybe they were on to something. In any case, they aren't dogging on Arsenal because they signed a deal with the rival game, they just aren't fans of their players this season. It happens.

I've contacted the police over this serious issue.

I fail to see what good does this do to EA? More moaning Liverpool and Arsenal fans? Why not just cut the bias and rate players accordingly

You could probably find fans from every single team who think their players should be rated differently..

How does it kill career mode? Unless you are starting a new career mode every week, the ratings don't carry over to it. Career mode is about developing youth, etc. Whether Monreal is 80 or 82 rated is no big deal.

If you want you can always edit the ratings yourself before you start a career mode.

Auba is already highly rated. He shouldn't be upgraded for playing as expected.

Monreal maybe you have a point there.

Your points about Chelsea and Man U are hyperbole.

Ultimately, Arsenal is a 6th place EPL team. If certain players get upgraded, then certain others should definitely be downgraded to make up the difference.
