Career mode unplayable after the last update

So everyone probably knows about the ratings bug after the latest patch. Player overall ratings go down even if their stats have gone up regardless of their age. Training doesn't work either. I was wondering if anyone here has any info from official EA representative?

I saw a couple of EA community managers on Twitter say they were aware of it and had notified the development team about it . Some say its cosmetic (that attributes are not affected) while others have noticed things like lineups getting screwed up. Would be pleasantly surprised if they fix it (as well as other issues).

It is quite hilarious that something as big as that has slipped through the net, the same happened with dramatic stamina drops a couple of patches ago. It seems that the demo of a game that started with good potential has been made worse with every update!

Yeah a community manager for EA also said back in September that they were aware of the reduction to save slots and they notified the dev team and we all know that has produced absolutely nothing of value. Not getting my hopes up for a fix from this trash company ... unless it's a fix to FUT that is

And they also said they were aware of the lack of fouls and that was passed on as well.

Nope. Wasn’t fixed on the last patch and now they’re all on Christmas break. I’d say AT BEST, you’re looking at late January or maybe February. This game is dead.

Just imagine if they had such a serious bug in Ultimate Team. They fould fix it IMMEDIATELY! But because Career Mode does not give them any money and has as smaller community than FUT you probably have to wait for FIFA 20 until they fix this game breaking und fun reducing bug.

This last patch totally screwed up not only career mode, but also gameplay for me. Is there anyway I can just delete game and reinstall without patches on ps4?

Yes if you have the game on disc: delete the game, disconnect the PS4 from the internet and reinstall. You'll play the out of the box (no patches) version. If you ever do connect again you need to stop patches from downloading. I'm still on the version before the Dec 12 patch.

Or will it happen over and over and eventually Neymar will be show as 60 rated? And you can still train the player and their ratings will go up? Trying to decide how much of a gamebreaker this is

I don't see any logic/patterns to it at all, the ratings seem to fluctuate by 1-2 at the start of every month regardless.

It's so frustrating when training players, that they're marked as going up after the session but then haven't when you return to the squad screen.

It's baffling they've managed to harm career mode gameplay so much while not making a patch that 'updates/changes career mode'!

I bought fifa 19 on psn holiday sale and i don't have no problem with growing players. Donnell Malen LW grow 2 + Kangin lee Cam grow 2 in a half year. Martial is 89, Mpappe 94 ovr. I would delete game and reinstall game with the patch 1.07.
