I just finished my second season in the A-League (this runs October - May). I am doing a Journeyman career - so my next move was to somewhere in Asia. I was able to accept a job in the China league ... but that league follows a March - November schedule. So I am joining this league already in progress. I think there is a mess-up with the "starting a new season" process - because there are no "new" free agents available when the summer transfer window opens.
I won the A-League title in May 2020 (A-League season complete)
I accepted the job in China in June 2020 (China league in progress)
The window that opens in July 2020 seems not quite right
Did I need to wait until AFTER the complete end of my second year BEFORE I made the switch to a new job? Did I need to wait until July 2020 (effectively beginning my THIRD year in A-League) BEFORE I looked to switch to China? Is the game confused because I did not fully complete my second season - even though all of the matches had been played?
