    I Don’t Want Injuries

So I’m playing a franchise with injuries turned off and I just got an email saying that my starting goalie is out for two months. What’s with that?

What FIFA are you playing? Do you mean Career mode? When you say you have turned injuries off, do you mean you set the sliders to 0?

      Training injury?
I don't know if it's different in 19 as I'm still playing 18 but training injuries pop up at the start of a month from time to time. If you're not keen on them then it would pay to do a soft save before the change of month.

Thanks for the replies. I'm playing FIFA 19 and yes, it's *career* mode (I was crossing sports gaming platforms in the OP).

When I initially configured the career with things like half length and such there is an option to completely turn injuries off, in fact when you do that you can't even touch the sliders as they are no longer applicable.

So you can imaging my chagrin when I lost my starting goalie for two months. I just want to play football and don't want to deal with a) losing one of my best players b) getting a replacement.

I like RagingTrav's idea about using save/restore to combat this. I just hope that the training injuries are truly random, i.e. they won't just keep occurring after I restore. It's worth a try though.

while in career mode, there is a settings with all the sliders and you can turn injuries off by setting it to 0. make sure to set Human and CPU to 0.

Make sure you save before entering a new month. There's a training injury like 90% of the time when you move into a new month this year for some reason. #innovation

Before you go into your career mode, go to the Customize screen and turn off injuries in the settings menu. Then go into your career mode and make sure your injury sliders are set to 0. If you are simulating games, make sure the CPU injury sliders are set to 0 as well.

Thanks BCricket. It took a while for me to figure out that when you are configuring a career and turn injuries off you cannot subsequently move the sliders during the rest of career setup. But you can adjust them once you are *in* your career.
