On the contrary, due to the Switch version just being a legacy edition and portable gaming being a bit of a must for me these days (especially something as time consuming as FIFA), I've decided to finally get round to buying FIFA 19 for under £15.

I can just switch the biggest transfers around myself and have the same game for a fraction of the price.

I think I am going to do the same, I am not happy about getting the finger from EA, especially considering there is NO excuse for them doing this Legacy Edition, it's pure laziness, ESPECIALLY since NBA2K and a few other games that are like that are FULL releases. Personally, I am big real football nut! To me, "It's just let's gouge them, they are too stupid to realize it."

So, just like you, I'll stick with FIFA 19 and be perfectly happy! It's a great version - similar to the Xbox 360 version. And that's good enough for me, the difficulty and the way it plays is really decent and challenging. Might not be the most realistic - still messing with the sliders trying to dial it in - playing on legendary with 8 minute halves. Would like to get a better set, but it works.

Not sure if i'll pre-order, buy on day 1 or sometime the first week, but i'm mainly buying due to Volta.

I preordered but only the basic edition - typically i get the $100 ultimate edition but after years of doing that I've realized the weekly packs you get have a 0% chance of getting an good players.

I would like to ask a question... I pre-ordered 20, im on a US account, does the game come out on all regions same time, or Europe gets it before USA or what's the deal? Thank you in advance.

I voted 'sitting out this year", actually change "this year" to "permanently". EA's attitude towards the playerbase and how they treated the game (FIFA 19) was the last straw, I'm actually not buying anymore EA products period after the disappointment of Battlefield 5 and the lousy treatment of Anthem (and Apex's gameplay doesn't interest me).


I regret even bothering with FIFA 19.
