World Cup mode

Is there no tournament mode to have 32 teams, so you can run a world cup tournament. I see there is a tournament for 24 teams, or am i missing something, thanks

that's what i figured... makes zero sense that they would not allow a world cup 32 team option... stupid EA

Yes you can. You can play 32 teams or 64.

When you open Custom Tournament, it opens on a page that says "League" Scroll to the left and it changes to "Group & Knockout". That's where you can use 32 or 64 teams.

I remember in FIFA 19, in the knockout stage, the matchups were seemingly random, and did't follow the World Cup guidelines of A1 vs. B2, B1 vs. A2 (or whatever they are), etc.
