Will Tournament Mode Crash Be Fixed in 21?

After last seasons Copa Libratadores DLC all tournaments in tournament mode (leagues/cups as well as custom tournaments) crashed on match day 2 if you selected more than 14 clubs. Hopefully this problem has been solved for FIFA 21.

What system was that happening on? I never had it happen on PC.

No it has not been fixed.
I’m playing it now with EA Play early access.
It still crashes.

How many teams are you controlling? You could only control up to 14 teams without it crashing during Week 2.

EDIT: I can see now from the stars by the teams that you are controlling them all. That is a good sign.

I controlled all 64 teams and it crashed after game 29.

Well hopefully Domestic Leagues/Cups got fixed. Last year from the jump Champions League and Custom Tournaments crashed if you chose more than 14 clubs. Domestic Leagues/Cups were fine as I did a Bundesliga and Premier League season with all 18 & 20 clubs controlled just fine, same as FA Cup. After the Copa Libratadores DLC, all Domestics Leagues/Cups would then crash if you selected more than 14 clubs. It was the Copa Libratadores DLC that screwed up tournament mode while Champions League would still crash if you selected more than 14 clubs.

did you save after 3 rounds, i think it usually occurs during saving.

UPDATE: Did 12 PL Rounds (mostly simming) 6 La Liga and 4 Bundesliga Rounds, no crashes as of yet.

Yes, I controlled all clubs. I even did some virtual sims and jumped into a match.


I even replaced some of the default clubs in the competition with other ones.
