Re: How is Your Career Going Fifa 21
I gotcha. I control defenders, play on Series X, and don't use those sliders so my perspective probably isn't very helpful to you. Even when I played on the Xbox One for this 21 I felt like user controlling defenders worked well. It's challenging but fun. Could be something to try before totally ditching the game.Comment

I honestly have no clue what that means... i am talking about physically user-ing the defending players rather than letter the cpu control them.Comment

How is Your Career Going Fifa 21
I feel like this game on defense I babysit my defenders the whole entire game. I’ll be user controlling my CDM all the sudden I’m like “ahh my CB is out of position” so I switch to my CB and get him in a better position.
Next thing I know my CDM I was just controlling dropped down the pitch and is just watching the opposition go right by.
It’s a vicious cycle. AI has no brain when it comes to defense.
I actually played fifa 20 today and fixed all the leagues (relegations, promotions etc), I also manually transferred players for about 2 hours..and that game plays much better. I just hate playing with outdated kits, so I’m not sure what to do.

Re: How is Your Career Going Fifa 21
Started a new career mode with Julian Nagelsmann and RB Leipzig.
Through 5 games in the Champions League group stage, I was third in my group and 3 ponts behind Manchester Utd. My goal difference was -2, whilst United's was +4. It was very much looking like I wasn't making it through to the knockout stages. I needed United to lose to PSG, and I needed to make up a 6 goal differential.
In the final group games, PSG beat Manchester United 2-1, I beat Istanbul 9-1, and I qualified on goal difference.
Slightly less pleasing: January 1st hits - Alexander Isak arrives as a big mid-season signing, and immediately injures himself in training. He's out for 6 weeks -_-Comment

Re: How is Your Career Going Fifa 21
I'm running an FC Nordsjælland Career Mode where the primary focus is developing primarily Danish and Ghanaian players in line with the club's real life ethos.
Just coming to the end of season 1, currently in 3rd and into the Sydbank Pokalen final against FC Midtjylland.
For anyone interested, it's all documented over on Instagram (fifacareer.ig)Comment

Re: How is Your Career Going Fifa 21
Going decently so far. Reaching end of first season with Harrogate Town in EFL2.
I was 2nd by 1 point with a game in hand, but we blew it against a mid-table team (who scored an offside goal...) and finished second. Now I have the playoffs to play.
Bought 2 players in winter (Ricky-Jade Jones and McNamara), planning on using youth academy more than anything given the low budget.
Muldoon was a beast up top with 22 goals (and he missed from march 7th to the end of the season).
PS: this is my first career in 21 and first since... Fifa 17 at least
EDIT: never mind there's no playoffsLast edited by Romano338; 01-21-2021, 05:43 AM.Comment
