Reading also on other forums, the rating on the performance of GK are very mixed.
I think it may depend on the fact that some users use sliders, some don't.
As well as personal sensitivity of course

After the last patch (25/8 ), several users say that the gameplay has improved.
I myself have seen a video (FC Porto vs Benfica) where for the first time
the logic of the movements of the cpu both in defense (always well deployed and careful) and in attack (long throws and crosses ..) has improved.Midfield controlled quite well and thick, with some CM coming back (a bit late) to give density to the cpu defense...
Also no goleada... (1-0)
I report a comment from a user, but there are others who more or less say the same concepts.
Maybe things are changing.....???

26/98 EA has changed a lot of things and FIFA 22 is better with this patch. The lack of faults is always there but the global gameplay is far better.

Defense is the Key : each game I have now 3-4 occasions, before it was minimum 10! I confirm there is less space, marking is better and more agressive. I don't know if with default sliders it's the same.

GK are more human. They always make greats stops but you can beat them if you play good.
Yesterday evening, game speed was too high, this morning is perfect, always with my personnal sliders.

The game is more physic and AI finds clever passes and shoot angles it didn't do before that.

I haven't win one of my 9 matchs! I love that.

It was me who sent this on FIFA 22 beta forum.
I'm a FUMA player and with the new update, the game feels so much better.
Always lack of faults, but the game is fun and I don't know if it their Hypermotion technology but we saw a real 11 Vs 11 animation. It's surprised me.


Ball physics is really good this year and as a FUMA player, I feel more control on my passes, shoots and dribbling too (I'm not a skiller but sometimes it helps to break defense)


Since the star of the beta, I have made 60 matchs.
Since the update, I have made 20 matchs and with my sliders I have only with one game on World Class! It was finger in the nose for me at this level before the update.


Wow i don't think I would say that but I'm in love with FIFA 22 beta.
AI was so much clever, headers are more harder to master than FIFA 21 nextgen. I lost my games but GK made some very nice stops, I have full of occasion, but FUMA this year is really more precise.


I haven't the problem of CMs who don't back. I don't know why. My settings 8 minutes/ World Class/FUMA, normal (slow didn't work this year again!!)

Well I just played a career mode game with Southampton against Newcastle United and it was amazing. Newcastle was sending long passes down the wings and had 9 crosses in the match!!!! I won 2-1 on an own goal. Shots were 11-6 in favor of Southampton.

The game feels way better than 21.

I used my FIFA 21 nextgen sliders on FIFA 22 beta and yes AI is making some crosses and long shots. Sometimes one or two faults too.

Great news...
About crosses I was confident, but I am surprised that cpu tries long shots
I have seen many videos but with very few long shots
Maybe it's encouraged by your sliders..

I just got curb stomped at Leicester City 4-nil, outshot 18-6.

I bumped the CPU Pass error up and pass Speed down and upped the GK Ability to 50/50.

I have gotten results that I can live with.

Oh wow, are people really saying the AI actually cross the ball now ? I had two hates with FIFA 21. Two that was game breaking for me.

1- the fact the AI never, ever crossed.
2- the central and wide midfielders not tracking back and standing 2 metres away from the opponents in no mans land watching my full back have to defend 2 sometimes 3 blokes by himself.

Can people confirm they have been improved ? PLEASE.

Coming back from PES considering the EFootball debacle. Need FIFA to not be it's usual self. Need some tracking back and some crosses. Need it to be somewhat realistic.
