Hello KG a question on which console do you play? i saw youtube videos and after the patch some teams shot from a distance but not all of them ..

but of course only on the next gen consoles, not the old ones.

PS5 version. I saw crosses when I played Burnley but I didn't see one shot from outside the box. Could be tied to player ratings/tendencies but still disappointing in that regard.

Other users have written here the opposite about cpu taking cross and long shot...
Do you use sliders?

As long as they’ve fixed crossing I’ll be happy. Long shots should be more frequent for some teams, less frequent for others…Everton hardly ever shoot from range, the likes of Utd should be shooting from range a fair bit.

Hi mate Only post-patch beta videos are good for getting an idea....and ONLY if good sliders are in...
It's difficult to know when you watch a video if it's post beta patch or not, also really not easy to know if player is using modified sliders (mandatory to improve gameplay).
In this thread have written many users who use the sliders and all agree that there are cross from cpu..
The judgement instead is not all for the long shots.
It's better to wait for the opinion of those who will try Fifa 22 on September 22 with early access.

there are many confirmations from several users, not only in this thread, but also on other forums.
Instead, about the long shots, there are different opinions.

Crosses are in, no doubt. There are long shoots too, it's depends of the situation.
Long shoots were on FIFA 21 too.
You need sliders to stop tiki taka.

So I was wondering if any of you will be purchasing the EA pass on September 22 so that we can finally get solid feedback before D1.

I have. Will play a few games on default sliders before amending to whatever’s recommended on here for realistic gameplay…just so I can gauge the differences.

Problem is the day 1 patch will most likely amend the default gameplay anyway, so it’s all a bit pointless!

They generally release one on launch day. Last year may have been an exception. As for ruining the game, it’s standard stuff now.

They release the game, it plays nice/more like real football, FUT players throw a bitch-fit because their players can turn like superheroes, EA pander to them because that’s who makes them £££…final result=pretty much the same game as last year.

This above is why we need two separate games.

Ruining a game with a patch just doesn't happen anymore... You have to go back more than 4-5 years to find an example.
