I would rather them get the MLS playoff format correct rather than add more stadiums. Spoiler alert, the playoff format is still incorrect in the FIFA 22 beta

There’s no good reason why Brentford’s stadium couldn’t be in at launch. Elland road fair enough with the pandemic but restrictions were light enough a good while ago for ea to be able to scan the stadium. My opinion is they got away with it a post launch elland road so they’ll do the same with newly promoted teams from now on.

The generics haven’t been touched for god knows how many years and multiple console generations. It’s either flat out laziness or complete disinterest.

The problem, as always, is FUT. This is a complete guess but the annual revenue for game sales must be about 10% in comparison to what UT must draw in. So why spend resources doing something that won’t make them money? If they cared or had pride in their game they’d add more stadiums…but it’s clear they don’t.

I’d be more than happy to buy stadium packs for what it’s worth.

To add to the above, they’ve also neglected existing licensed stadiums. Goodson park was updated about 4 years ago in real life but still reflects how goodison looked under martinez first season.

Burnley, Stoke, Man Utd, Man City, Liverpool to name a few have had the in game stadium updated, which is great, but why neglect other clubs?

          This argument makes no sense.

They're not scanning the stadium prior to launch because it won't make them money, but they're going to scan it and put it in an update. Why will it cost them less to do it that way?

You think the issue of generic stadiums is purely down to a lack of pride or care about the game? If stadium licenses weren't a thing, you don't think there would be more official stadiums in the game?

I didn’t say they hadn’t scanned Brentford. I’m certain they have. What last year proved was they don’t have to put in a shift to get another stadium in by launch, they can just do it whenever and who cares about CM players who’ll complain? Not EA as they make their money via FUT.

EA are sitting on a ton of licenses they don’t use…so yeah they basically can’t be bothered/won’t apply resources, which the generics prove as they haven’t added or improved the generics for years. They can’t even be bothered keeping licensed stadiums up to date!

EA put almost all their resources into FUT…any work on other modes is purely token. You must be the only person who doesn’t see that.
