ugh no mention of the board confidence issues in career mode being fixed and we know they know about it. If it's not fixed in patch #3, I imagine it's not getting fixed at all :/

The cpu fouls got me so excited. Hope it works. As far as fixing youth players disappearing I’m assuming we do not have to start a new CM to have that fixed, correct?

Are you talking about how you complete an objective but it doesn’t actually say you completed it? Example: I had to sign a player that was a different nationality than my club. I did that. Yet it says I still have not.

And no doubt another step backward in gameplay to appease online FUT players. Last patch seemed to kick up the overall speed of gameplay considerably with no mention in the patch notes. It's a familiar trend every year with FIFA and one that is making offline players increasingly angry.

Another patch and the MLS playoff format still sits incorrect. It's been wrong ever since the league changed the format. Pretty sad that EA owns the MLS license yet they can't even get the playoffs correct. I've raised this to EA with a response that it will be sent to the dev teem but nothing. Guess it's not really a priority on their end.

Dang, nothing about my three biggest grips: the backline AI issues, skinny arms in YA, and the match restart stamina bug.

Super excited for CPU fouls though! Pretty much makes the patch worth it just for that (if it works).

"Youth Academy players could disappear at the start of the second season."

Gentlemen, do not overlook this! This is MASSIVE to get fixed! It was a huge killer to career mode to have your entire youth academy go poof!

Also, one of THE biggest gripes is being addressed:

"CPU AI teams are now more likely to commit fouls during matches played on Semi-Pro difficulty and above."

These are major impacts to the game, both on and off the pitch. Plenty of people here say "EA doesn't care" because these two specific issues aren't addressed. Well here they are.

Also glad they're addressing some of the stuttering on PC.

The patch isn't a cure-all for everything, but this is the patch I was waiting for. Good stuff!

I've played a few games since the patch and it doesn't feel like there have been any drastic gameplay changes.

As for fouls, there still aren't many standing tackles that result in fouls, but the AI is way more aggressive in trying for diving tackles. While the number of fouls isn't super different, the AI is getting yellow cards in every match now. (So far.)

One thing I didn't see in the patch notes is that in today's play sessions I got a lot of different training scenarios automatically scheduled. Ones I've never seen before. They've been fairly easy so far except for one that required shooting into very small cut-out targets to earn any points at all, and that's pretty challenging since I'm managing a team in a small league (Eliteserien) and using the community sliders, which gives a big boost to shot error.

I'm on PC, I have the patch installed. I had a save that was just before my 2nd season end. I loaded up the save and proceeded into year 3, and my Youth Academy disappeared. So I'm wondering if this a case where you have to start a new career.

Edit: Just simulated two years, and my Youth Academy did NOT disappear after each season. So it does appear you need to create a new career to get that change implemented.

Thankful for them doing stuff in this one... compared to patch #1 this is great.

Still can't help but be frustrated that they aren't understanding the YA potential bug... losing potential happens to all youth players - ones signed near the new season & ones that scored 30 goals the previous season. It's like they're incapable of fixing a bug fully and have to always give us these half butt fixes.

Every post-match press conference is insanely loud static for me still & there's no mention of that being fixed... is anyone else experiencing this?

"Post Match Interview audio could become corrupted when the Disable All Music for Streaming Purposes setting was enabled."
