Hope the6 get help defense figured out before release. Playing as Villa vs Spurs. I was up 2-1 on world class in 85th minute. Took the ball into the corner and sat on it to see out the rest of the match. Was 1v1 in the corner the entire time. Not a single AI defender came to help.....

I had a comical instance today as Real Madrid v. Barca. They had a free kick from 45-50 yards out and sent a ball into the box. Almost everyone on my team then immediately started running away from the box at the same time (6-7 players) for no reason. I had no offsides trap set on.

Safe to say it was an easy goal for them lol

Man I really, really hope they can iron out the kinks. i feel like the groundwork is there but a lot needs to be tweaked. The score on the games of me vs. CPU are outrageous. Playing on Legendary and I beat Liverpool 11-3 with Arsenal. The CPU midfield and defense are just comically bad.

Need me some Matt10 sliders. Can't wait

No slider brings back ai defending.

If you don't mind how it plays and only stats are your major concern, you can probably put shot error at 100 and get players who can't shoot, so fewer goals. And if you put pass error at 100 you'll get players who can't figure out how to kick a football, so more attacks breaking down for no good reason, but you'll never get actual team defending which is what is missing.

In short, you can maybe make the players on the ball just as useless as the players defending and that's it.

You may also have to play the game yourself blindfolded or by pushing buttons with your feet to achieve the same with the player you're controlling. Some would say, just use "manual passing", serves the same purpose. So now you know why there's a 100% chance you'll get this suggestion.

Just generally miskick the ball on purpose as often as you can, as a substitute for the lack of defending and pretend it's soccer/football, even though it's basically basketball.
