    Manager Career Mode

Any suggestions for a good mid-table team to start a Manager Career with? I don't want to start with a Top 5 team, as expectations to win it all are too high. I want to build up my manager resume. Here are some I thought of. Any other team ideas please let me know. thank you!!

Could try Derby County. They have a stadium that you can eventually fill, so won’t have little money for long. Board expectations are good. Some good young players to build around, and quite a few loaners and aging players to replace after year 1.

Only downside is not having a licences stadium, but the default is 42,000. Not bad.

Can you control the players in manager career mode or are the games simmed?

You can do either. Default is you control the whole team like in any other mode, or you can play as one player using player lock, or you can sim matches, either watch as it goes or play highlights only.

Pretty cool really, you control the training, player transfers, signing youth players, control player development and play all the matches.

Oh, and you can “quick sim” which simulating the whole match without watching it. But results are a bit of a lottery.

I would do an road to Glory. Maybe pick Sunderland they have the Stadium in the game. If u pick Newcastle give ur self most money at the start of the game, that would be realistic.
