Their rating system is always so odd. Like no one is allowed to be over 91 because it's the base card in UT, and they need people to want the 99 rated special version of it. -

It could also be due to not wanting ratings inflation. Trust me, it was a problem for a long time in Madden. When you spread out the ratings, you allow for more diversity and growth. It's better if Haaland's rating has somewhere to go.

I’ve noticed a lot of players have had their sprint reduced compared to last year. This can only be a good thing meaning the game is naturally slower.
It looks like they have added what was taken to other stats so the player either is the same overall or sometimes higher. Yes some have also seen stats drop but this happens all the time.
