Playing EA games with 2 monitors - Can't get my rez above 1920?!

Played FC 24 last night without any issue and was able to stream no problem. Today though I can't get the game to play in any higher resolution on the PC than 1920 x 1080. I have read some EA games have this issue and the solution is to use one monitor (your main monitor).

However, I stream and so my second monitor is my El Gato Stream Deck.

So for whatever reason EA's games now will max out at 1920 x 1080 if I have the Stream Deck in use.

I think what's happening is the game is seeing two mirrored monitors and picking the lower resolution of the El Gato (1920 x 1080) instead of my main 38" Alienware which is 3880 x 1600.

I have no other issues with any other games. But every game in the EA App has this affliction now which means Madden, FC, F1 23, etc are all going to look pretty poor if I cannot fix it.

Does anyone know how to fix this? Other than just not stream it, or do like I am doing now and stream it in 1920 x 1080? LOL...hoping someone may have had this issue here and can help.

Solved by a new $8 HDMI 8K Amazon basics cable!
