Just recently signed Mario Ballotelli & David Di Gennaro in my MM from Roma. I'm trying to corner the market on all the young Italian internationals. Too bad United wouldn't sell me Macheda.

Finally won some a cup, took until the 4th season.

Playing as Leeds UNited on Legendary. Beat Aston Villa 2-0 to win English Cup, then few weeks later defeated everton 3-1 in extra time, to win the FA Cup.

Ended up finishing 7th in the premier league, had a chance to make top 4, but late in season couldn't win a game to save myself as majority of team were getting tired and I started saving some players for the cup games.

          Record: 1st (30-3-5, +82 GD, 93 points)

Cups: Defeated Chelsea in the FA Community Shield, eliminated by QPR in the quarterfinals of the Carling Cup, eliminated by Liverpool in the quarterfinal of the FA Cup, and defeated Inter Milan in the final of the Champions League.
Summer Transfers: Sold CB Matthew Kilgallon and RF Jamie Ward. Bought CDM Fabrice Muamba (Bolton), Magnus Wolff Eikrem (Free), David Amoo (Bristol City), and Jack Hobbs (Leicester City).
          Winter Transfers: None.
          Goal Scorers: Obadeyi (31), Jerome (30), Evans (21), Henderson/Stanislas (14), Fer (7), Muamba (6), Harper (4), Amoo/Eikrem/Reid/Quinn (3), Edgar/Clyne/Walker/Hobbs (1)
          Goalkeeping: Lewis (7 clean sheets)

          I have no manager thoughts.

Turned off auto-save, saw I was going to get the debt glitch once I took the Manchester United job, and turned the game off. Came home from school (forgetting I didn't save my profile with auto-save off), went through it again and it saved automatically. Debt glitch. Hooray. I hate EA Sports.

Sheffield United Manager Dies in Crash

Heralded Blades manager Blaxican8504 was killed in a gruesome one-vehicle accident in the early morning hours following his team's victory over Inter Milan in Champions League final. Authorities would not say if alcohol was a factor in the crash pending further investigation. Due to reports of death threats against the manager due to his rumoured move to replace Sir Alex Ferguson, police did not rule out foul play.

Sheffield United fans surrounded Bramall Lane in mourning, creating an impromptu memorial to the highly decorated gaffer. "Oh when the Blades go marching in!" could be heard ringing through the air in the centre of Sheffield throughout the day. The joy in their voices belied the dark cloud of tragedy hanging over the proud industrial city.

Upon further review, it doesn't look like the debt has much affect on anything. In fact, I think the only thing that it affects is what the club budget looks like. I can still buy players and I can still pay their wages. I think you just have to remember what the budget was before the glitch kicked in. So I might just stick it out. Seems a bit realistic to me. Insurmountable debt but still able to pay for players.

I thought I was screwed until I went into the transfer screen and made a bid for a player. The budget goes from -$2B to +$2B, but the only change to the money came from the XX,XXX,XXX digits. Which makes sense, because when I took the job, I had a budget of $41,000,000.

Isn't there a way to reload if you do the debt glitch, and it may not be there the second time you take the same job?

Any tips for manager mode? I was trying to be the manager of Celtic and I got fired for only coming in 2nd place behind the undefeated Rangers team.

                        Year 4 Update

                        Team: AS Roma

                        Record: 1st (27-9-2, +58 GD, 90points)
Silverware: Serie A Champs, UEFA Champions League
Cups: Defeated Juventus in the UEFA CL Final, lost to Juventus in the Coppa Final, lost to Inter in the Suppercoppa.

                        Summer Transfers:
In - Andres Guardado, LW (Deportivo)

                        Winter Transfers:
Mario Ballotelli, ST (Inter), David Di Gennaro, CM (AC Milan)

Goal Scorers: Vucinic (21), Ballotelli (13), Totti (12), Menez (11), Baptista (9), Okaka (8), De Rossi (6), plus more I can't remember now

                        Manager Thoughts:
                        • Our goal this year was to win the Champions League. I felt like we were deep enough of a squad to win 4 trophies but the CL was our main target. We pretty much coasted through the entire tournament ripping apart Schalke '04 in the semi's and finishing off our Serie A rival Juve.

                        • We were much better defensively and GK Diego Alves improved tremendously capturing Serie A POY honors along the way. We played a lot of different ST's up front and passed the ball well all year.

                        • To combat aging (Totti, Perrotta, Pizarro, etc...) we went out and got Totti's replacement, David Di Gennaro from Milan. He was a big signing but when Super Mario Ballotelli transferred to Roma the Giallarossi faithful knew sustained success in the future was more than possible, it is guaranteed.

                        • We lost 5 matches all year (2 in the league, 1 in the SuperCoppa Final, 1 in the Coppa Final, and 1 in meaningless CL Group play when we wrapped it all up).

                        Current Depth Chart

STs - Okaka (23), Mario Ballotelli (22), Jeremy Menez (26), Vucinic
CF/CAM - Totti, Baptista, Gennaro (25),De Rossi, Pizzaro, Perrotta, Asamoah

                          Manager Thoughts:
                          • This season was a bit of a surprise. We were in 12th place at the beginning of October. Typical of squads I manage, we went on an impressive run that didn't see us drop points until January. During that time we went from 12th to 4th, with Marseille and Lyon still quite a bit ahead. The gap looked insurmountable as we started dropping points in February, but another surge saw us draw ahead of Lyon for 2nd. We somehow managed to draw even with Marseille (but ahead on GD). The league was decided on the final day. Marseille lost and we drew, thus giving us the title by a single point.

                          • We need to address our depth to deal with the fixture congestion next season. The squad is old and we don't have enough to meet all of our needs. Immediate areas of need are cover for CB, LB, CM, RW, and LW.

                          • You cannot afford to drop points in this league. With Lyon, Marseille, and Bordeaux, the talent gap is so huge. A dip in form will see their lead at the top just grow and grow.

                          • It is very difficult to score a lot of goals in this league. A lot of teams play with defensive formations so you have to be patient in attack and counter smartly.

After bringing AS Roma 6 trophies (3 Serie A, 1 Coppa Italia, 1 Supercoppa, and 1 Champions League) Manager Strong has decided that his time in the Italian capital is nearing an end, "I have accomplished a lot in my 4 years as Roma Manager. Last year was one of the finest seasons that any Club has ever had and I was very fortunate to work with such a talented mixture of lads. The Board believed in me when I was just a half-star manager and allowed me to lay a foundation that will have the Giallorossi faithful smiling for many moons. I have never been a stranger to adversity and I feel that my next step must be a challenging endeavor. Rome will forever have my heart."

Rumors circulating have Manager Strong meeting with English Clubs; Everton, Manchester City, Aston Villa, Tottenham. French Clubs Bordeaux and Lyon as well as 2nd tier La Liga participants Valencia & Atletico Madrid have also contacted Strong's agent.
