    Virtual Pro is always on roster in every mode....why?

    Hey not sure if this has been answered at all but this is really bugging me. I want to do manager mode as well as create a virtual pro. The problem I am facing is that when I create a virtual pro and then create a manager mode season, my pro is on the team (AC Milan).

    When I play just a normal kick-off game against friends, the virtual pro is there. How can we avoid this problem? I do not want to be playing friends and see that my virtual pro is on a team or I do not want to start another manager mode with a new team at a later date and have my pro on this team. Its driving me crazy.

    How can this be avoided? I want to have a virtual pro but I do not want this pro to be on the roster of every other game mode. Can I just save an original squad file and load that and then begin a manager mode season, will that help? Any advice would be great.

      Go to Edit Pro and change his team to Free Agents.

          I've got FIFA 11 but haven't played it yet so my advice may not be plausible but is FIFA 11's use of the virtual pro similar to NHL 11's use where it's mandatory to create one when you start the game? If you aren't obligated to create your pro from the very beginning then I'd suggest starting up the game, creating your manager mode file, saving it then exiting and creating your virtual pro for use in other aspects of the game. As for if you don't want him to show up in your friendlies with your buddies just adjust the lineup or make him a FA.

              It's not like NHL's. You don't create one unless you want to.

              To the OP, just put him on free agents and he won't be on any team.

                  But being an FA, will he be signable by any team?

                      Can't you just take him out of the lineup in kickoff mode?

                          Thanks for the help with this. The only issue I have with free agents is what was addressed before. If I start a new manager mode season and my be a pro is at a high level and is a free agent, will other teams sign him? I really do not want to be playing in manager mode and see across from me on the other side of the pitch is my pro who is overall better than just about everyone. I think it takes away from the enjoyment for me.

                              I made my player a Free Agent and when I start the game up he is still on my team. WHY??

                                  When you start a new manager mode this year it asks you which rosters you want to start with...download latest, currently loaded, default, default + Virtual Pro.

                                  I dont know off hand if those are all the options, but it would appear you are able to start a manager mode without your VP in the game.

                                      If you do download latest your VP is in it and if you do Default + VP he's in it idk what to do

                                          I have the same problem...I have custom teams on file and all their players show up as free transfers. As such I have like 50 90+ rated guys in the free transfer pool which pretty much destroys career mode.

                                              I chose download latest roster file an my VP is not on my squad.
