I found a regen last night and I can't quite determine who he is...he's a 6'4" Italian striker and he's already rated an 83 at 21 years old. He's got the Speed an Acrobat traits, too.

Do the regen players keep the same height / weak foot / dribbling, etc.?

Nope.

Funny thing is, Iniesta regened with pretty similar stats, except his dribbling, speed, and acceleration are all in the 95-99 range.

Because of this, Iniesta's regen actually plays much differently than Iniesta did.

I had Steven Gerrard retire in my LFC CM, and during the offseason Carlos Franks from England, 20 of age, 6'0, 71 OVR on my squad. I didn't even sign him, so I'm guessing it's a regen. Got him starting so he can reach his potential.

I have Martin Skrtel retiring at the end of his contract. I hope I get a regen on him.

Do you have thoughts on how to figure "who" your regen is a regen of?

For example ... the "Ryan Giggs" regen is pretty easy to notice ... there are not as many world-class players from Wales. But other regens from more prominent nations (Italy / Argentina / etc.) could sometimes be any one of a number of possible players.

My reason for this is ... the regen player only lists one position - where most "regular" players have a prime position and other positions that they are also willing to play ... if I can figure out "who" the regen is, then I can play him in his secondary positions as well (again, using Giggs as the example, he lists as a CAM ... but can also play CM and LM).

Do all regens hail from the correct country? I only ask because I signed a FA that looks an awful lot like Drogba in my CM....but he's from Peru.

IIRC, no they do not. The thing to remember I think is that EA doesn't want the Regen mechanics to be so blatantly obvious to FIFA gamers, so they hide their tracks a bit.

Why? What's the big deal? There's nothing preventing you from playing them wherever you'd like is there?

I think I have a regen that has multiple positions. I'm pretty sure the guy I got from Barca is the Ronaldinho regen because he's about the same size with 5*WF/4*Skills. His primary position is listed as CM, but he can also play CAM and CDM.

I also snatched up the Xavi regen from Barca, but he's only listed as a CM. I still play him at CAM and CDM though because I don't think it really matters much.

i have got cr7 regen at my long career period with united , bought him he is now 20 and overall 91
but problem is his skill is 1* :O damnn it

how many seasons in were you when gerrard retired? how old was he?
