    Polish people.

In fact, lots of European countries have a significant Polish population due to the right for free movement within the EU.

None of the leagues seem to be completely represented in their entirety.

Some are better than others but it is what it is.

Nope, now I do. Though here (Europe) we got a lot of MLS coverage due to Beckham playing for LA, ESPN showed....what was it, one or two games a week live I think it was? I know it was on ESPN on Sky though and the papers lapped it up.

      Now...nope, no coverage at all.

One thing you're forgetting is the fact that FIFA is tailored to a market that's mostly outside of North America. They don't need to focus on the MLS as much as the 'Big Four' because true soccer/footy fans still don't give the MLS more than a miniscule shred of credibility.

Bad idea. You'd never be able to build an elite team in MLS. It's better to just pretend MLS doesn't behave in its own bubble.

It would be nice if they would add an international club tournament between MLS and Mexican Primera.

I play with the unlicensed Polish League.as it is part of my family heritage. Hope it gets licensed this year.

Re: FIFA: Time to Improve the MLS Experience

I think you are right and it should happen but lets recap FIFA career mode. It's so glitched that most times I can't make it through 2 years before it starts freezing. It's not UT (ultimate team) so it's not going to get "extra attention" due to the fact it doesn't make them millions. Finally, in this gen there is simply not enough memory for them to put the effort into making this mode as deep as it should be.

What I have been asking for, for years is a DLC option that includes a true PC Manger Mode experience that is playable via the FIFA game play engine. 15 or 20 bucks would be reasonable for the true hardcore Career Mode fans like me and probably you. With all that said, they can't even add DLC stadiums or teams, much less a crowd that doesn't like ps1 graphics due to memory space according to FIFA devs.

A true MLS experience is a true pipe dream. I'd love it, but not enough euros care so it wont be included anytime soon, probably not even on next gen. They can't even add real faces, stadiums or update their boots (like they do with the big leagues). Great article, but us real fans that actually love the game don't have enough input on development of the game, it's sad really.

                I find this amusing. I guess I'm not a "true soccer/footy fan"

WTF "true soccer/footy fans?" With all due respect sir you are an idiot. It has nothing to do with being a "true" fan. It would've been a lot more accurate to say "MOST soccer/footy fans" or something like that because that's really what it is. The majority of people don't see the MLS as a competitive league, but it has nothing to do with the fans of the MLS to be "real" or "true" fans at all. In fact, I think the Americans that root for an MLS team are more "true" than the Americans that root for Barcelona and Manchester and bayern from their home in LA and they've never even BEEN to Spain. THOSE are the people that aren't true fans if anything is.

Yea I guess me neither because I scream, cry, and sing for a team that isn't in England.

Yeah, that was a really ignorant comment toward the end. I once tried to pull for a team from England because they're on all the time on the weekends, and I found that I had more fun following FC Dallas simply because the soccer is comparable. That's like saying somebody that pulls for an AAA team in Baseball isn't a true fan of the game.

My firstI thought was to have a fake CONCACAF-like Champions League, by at least having MLS and LIGA MX teams play.

Another idea would be to have all the leagues in the game (not in Europe) play in their own little fake champions league? MLS, LIGA MX, Brazil, South Korea, Saudi Arabia and Australia.

Thoughts? I know it's not ideal, but its better than nothing, IMHO.

I've been thinking of doing this myself. I was actually thinking of just putting MLS, Liga MX, and Brazilian league into the lower British league tiers and keep the Premier League. I'd at least get to participate in 2 cup tourneys a year, each drawn out over half of a season, which is a huge huge huge upgrade over U.S Open Cup, which is just a sad sad tournament in this game.

I hope FIFA 14 makes some MLS improvements, but not going to hold my breath. I actually enjoy playing with my local team though, because as a recent soccer fan and MLS follower, it helps acquaint me better with the good players in this league.

I wouldn't recommend you do that. You should just replace the Netherlands league with the MLS league because if you put the league in England, then eventually you'll move up to the premier league and you'll leave all the other MLS teams behind. A few years down the road you'll just be an American team in an English league. You should make a league with ONLY MLS teams or you can take a league like France, and replace the top league with MLS, and bottom league with Liga MX. That way your local tournament will be a Mexico-USA tournament and you'll be able to qualify for bigger tournaments like the champions/Europa.

this year I played mainly on PC, so thankfully there are some great mods and patches for concacaf cl, etc. but your idea sounds good. I think I'll try that when I'm on my ps3.
