    SEASON 1
    TEAM: Real Madrid
    LEAGUE: Liga BBVA
    DIFFICULTY: Legendary, 6 Minutes
OBJECTIVES: - Win the League, Win the Domestic Cup, Win the European Cup

    TRANSFERS
    IN:
    -Suarez (50k + Xabi Alonso)

    OUT:
    -Xabi Alonso

    LEAGUE
I did rather poorly with the team I had in league play. We finished third in the league below Barcelona and Athletico Madrid.

    Barcelona - 87 Pts
    Athletico - 82 Pts
    Real Madrid - 77 Pts

    DOMESTIC CUP
We achieved our goal and won the Spanish Cup rather easily, beating Barcelona in the final 2-0.

    EUROPEAN CUP
We got all the way to the final of the European Cup but beat in the final, losing to Barcelona 2-1.

In the end, we had a pretty decent season but there are definitely changes that will be made to the squad which will hopefully bring more success in season 2.
    GO VOLS!!!!

        hi there.
does anyone know how does the fatigue "works" for the AI teams???
i notice that when playing in the same week with the same team (example: championship and cup against Barcelona), the initial 11 is the same on the other team... but I have fatigued players.

for some odd reason, stamina depletion is directly linked to this slider. the lower you set it, the less fatigue you get.
Do you have the AI's ACC set lower than yours? If so then this may be your solution.

            haven't changed the game sliders.
I don't bother to have my team with fatigue, but I can't really say if the other team get's weaker... and tyred.

So I'm in my 2nd season with Bristol Rovers and they are a fun team. I made it to the quarter finals in the capital one cup and lost. The were a much better team than me that game. I'm also in the semi finals in the F.A. Cup with them and we are looking amazing and I'm also in the championship of the J Paint Trophy. Oh yea this is all happening while I'm in first place this season. I picked up Luke James this offseason for hefty price of 960k doesn't seem like a lot to you guys playing with bigger teams but that left me 40k for the entire transfer window. I also used the free scout to find amazing player in catalog that really helped as well. I then traded away Brent for 1.4 million and since I have done hat man this team is fantastic. This is on top of me acquiring Ben Amos las yea. I love this team. We are going to b good next year in league 1

i think this wouldn't help. it would only make the game easier. fatigue actually decreases when you decrease acceleration.

btw, i think his question is about fatigue in cpu simulated matches. i don't believe sliders have any influence over those.

frnp, i played a league cup game against southampton and they had some reserves in (even the goalkeeper). but i don't know if it was because of fatigue or because it was them not giving a **** to the league cup. i don't know how fatigue in cpu simmed matches work, but i believe they should rotate a bit. anyway, i'm finding the fatigue recovery between matches to be overpowered for the player this year compared to fifa13. so far i didn't need to rotate my squad at all, they're always starting with 100% stamina. quite boring.

If you have extra wage then offer him a good raise and throw a 20% bonus in.

If not, wait til the board tells you to sell him. sometimes they say "it's your choice" and you can keep him and hope he decides to stay.

Re: How's Your FIFA 14 Career Mode Going?

Hello everyone, I'm new here. I hope you all enjoyed last night's games, Specially Portugal-Sweden game. It was really amazing.
So, I started my CM couple of days ago. I chose Real Madrid.
I enabled summer transfer window. I set the difficulty level to Professional, I'm trying to get the hang of the game. It feels really different compared to FIFA 13.
                        My transfers are:
                        In:
                        Zlatan Ibrahimovic
                        Thiago Silva
                        Robin Van Persie
                        Piszczec(gave Arbeloa to BVB)

                        Out:
                        Benzema
Sahin, Jese and Denis Cheryshev are on loan
                        Khedira

sitting on top with 21pts from 7 games. Atletico(8 games) and Barcelona(7games) are 2nd and 3rd with 18 and 15 pts.
                        Have a nice day fellas.

Re: How's Your FIFA 14 Career Mode Going?

After watching a few Youtubers doing a career mode with AS Monaco I decided to give it a go; I noticed immediately that AS Monaco signed quite a few players already before I got here including a few really young ones. so I put all my young players up for loan such as a 19 year old GK named Alex Maraval; he is rated as 55 overall and quickly got picked up for a season loan. One young player who I sent out on loan to Nottingham Forest looks very promising. He is a 19 year old CM named Jessy Pi; overall 62 already so I hope he does good things in Nottingham this season.

My transfer budget was $132,000,000 but keep in mind the wage budget was only $1,157,750 which means I knew I'd have to eventually reduce my transfer budget in order to get more wages.

The first shake-up I did was completely re-vamp the midfield and defense. I am using a 4-2-3-1 formation. Both my RB and LB were very young and hold future value but are not first team quality yet; my RB was a young 19 year old who looks promising and is overall 72 named Fabihno from Brazil; I wanted to keep him on the team but didn't think he was quite ready to start. My LB was a 20 year Frenchman named Layvin Kurzawa who is a 71 overall. Again, young talented prospect but not first-team quality.

I pursued a few options such as Kieran Gibbs from Arsenal but found their price too expensive despite my high transfer budget. I sent a scout to Brazil and found a player I really liked. He is a 22 year old LB named Alex Sandro who played for FC Porto. Overall 79 with plenty of room to grow. Has 84 acceleration, 81 sprint speed, 82 interceptions and 84 ball control. I got him for $18,000,000 which seemed like a fair price to me. Then I went out and found a RB. I found another Brazilian named Mariano who was on Bordeaux, ironically my first opponent of the season. He is 27, overall is 76. Some of his best traits include 87 acceleration, 89 sprint speed, 83 crossing and 80 ball control. I paid $9,000,000 for him.

I then needed a good solid CB since my to starters were over the hill; 35 year old Ricardo Calvalho and 34 year old Eric Abidal. I decided I was going to keep Abidal as a starter since he'd be a good veteran presence. I ended up signing Winston Reid from West Ham for $6,000,000. Of course he's from New Zealand and is a very strong and dynamic defender. After I got him I signed career mode legend kurt Zouma from Saint-Etienne for $11,000,000. He will be a good squad rotation player this season and hopefully a start next year when the old men retire.

By this point I needed to put more money in my wage budget so I did just that. My next point of emphasis was the mid-field. I liked my CDM Geofferey Kondogbia, a 20 year old who had just arrived from Sevilla. He is overall 78 and is incredibly strong. But I wasn't a fan of my other CDM Toulalan who is 29 and had just arrived from Malaga. So I signed an offensive minded CM to go with Kondobia and that man is Michael "Lex Luthor" Bradley. I got him for $9,000,000 from Roma.

Next I turned to my attackers and wingers to see what I need to do with them. My RW was of course the very young and talented Jesse Rodriguez who had just arrived from FC Porto for $41,500,000. But on the other side was a very young player, 19 year old Ferreira Carrasco of Belgium; future first-teamer but I needed a definite upgrade. I found a nice player who would fit my squad from one of my scouts. He is 21 year old LM Ola John who was at St. Benefica; he is a Frenchman as well. I signed him for $13,500,000. He is 78 overall. He has a 4 star weak foot, 4 star skills moves, 89 speed, 82 crossing and 82 curve which is perfect since he will try to cross the ball to Falcao.

I then decided to get another striker to be Falcao's back-up. I bought 22 year old Frenchman Alexandre Lacazette from Lyon for $9,000,000. He is pretty fast, has 4 star skills moves, is strong for his size and is a good compliment to Falcao. Then I bought the versatile Jonathan Dos Santos from Barcelona for $6,000,000. He is a nice squad rotation player.

I think I had about $35,000,000 after buying those players and selling a few scrubs of mine. My plan was to buy a lot of young above average players with good potential instead of 2-3 great players in their prime with a huge wage. That strategy worked out and it was then that I thought I should go after a great player in his prime. Now I am not talking someone like Ronaldo, Di Maria or Ozil here. As a City fan I though someone like Samir Nasri would be perfect for my squad. My squad at this point had Rodriguez playing the RW, Ola John playing LW with Joao Moutihno playing the CAM; I wasn't a fan of Joao playing CAM since to me he is more of a CM/RW.

I offered Manchester City I believe $20,000,000 initially for Nasri; we finally settled on $25,000,000. Once City agreed to the deal I had to lower my transfer budget and raise my wages. I cut it close since I knew Nasri would demand a big wage. He agree on a $220,000 a week wage. Once he joined the squad, I moved Rodriguez to the CAM, put Nasri as my RW. I will use Moutihno off the bench.

                          My starting squad is:
                          GK- Sergio Romero
                          RB- Mariano
                          RCB- Winston Reid
                          LCB- Eric Abidal
                          LB- Alex Sandro
                          RDM- Geofferey Kondogbia
                          LDM- Michael Bradley/Joao Moutinho
                          RM- Samir Nasri
                          LM- Ola John
                          CAM- Jose Rodriguez
                          ST- Falcao

Those of you that know me know that I have been playing with Bristol Rovers in my CM. Well it all finally paid off!! I was playing last night and I won the FA Cup 1-0 against man city in penalties. I also won the J paint trophy! So instead of having a budget of 1 million I have 8 million and qualified for the euro league. It's a great time for me love it and I'm so addicted to this game. I also got an automatic promotion to league 1. So I have 8 million in league 1 more than any other team and I made that pay off. I bought faustner a German CDM for 2 million and a 3 star youth scout to help my academy so far this season I'm looking good. I need advice on what to pick up striker wise I play with two strikers know anyone around 2 million I should get that's 70 or better also I'm won deny wild you guys get a good striker or a goalie. I got Ben Amos right now but his contract expires this season and he's a 67 right now that wants 10k a week. Can you recommend good goalies that are 70 or better as well hanks guys

Alex Nimly from man city is pretty good, you can get him for under a mil and he's about 68 in the second season. Jack? Butland is a good goalie starts at 71 and has good potential, cost around 2 mil to buy(worth right at 1). the best goalie in the game IMO is Nicola Leali, he's an absolute beast, starts at 72 but in my York City CM I bought him in my League one season for 3 mil and he went all the way up to 89!!!!! I had to pay him ridiculous wage to sign him tho.
