I will definitely check it out and see what impact it has on my playing results. Maybe you will get me to play every game in real time. I will hate you for that if you do. haha.
What I want to achieve while managing a team is getting a good season result, watching my investments grow (player OVR growth), and ultimately climbing the ladder to winning it all. I always play my semifinals and the final in Champions cup, but playing all games is too tedious work for me. Call me superficial, but there are other games out there as well you know.

i understand. it's just that i don't care if i take months to finish a season. one or two games per day, enjoying the season slowly, like a good wine... i don't consider my time wasted if i don't win any title. the fun is in the journey =)

Not at all; the whole point of any discussion forum is help each other enjoy the game, not criticize and lol someone simply because he happens to play the game differently than we do.

I usually replay every game I lose to a weaker team. Mostly because I don't have the time to spend on playing every game but also because I don't need to give myself an ego boost. Skill is playing and getting a good result against equally matched or better opponents. At least in my world.

so in ur world when u lose to a weak team u have time to replay that one..... you contradicted yourself, but ok

no the game takes 40min. & wtf are you talking about? I play long games because in 6-7 min games its IMPOSSIBLE to get realistic stats. period... and i was tired of playing BORING 1-0 matches...

now like Gonira said, i enjoy thrilling 3-3 matches etc... something 6-7min cant bring

Outside of online matches, there's no way I could see myself playing 6-7 minute matches. Gonira is correct that playing 15 halves with "simulation sliders that severely affect the default mechanics of the game. shot accuracy is decreased, pace is reduced big time and we use full manual controls, which make scoring chances really tough to create." I am noticing that the games I do lose against a lesser opponent are my fault, either I passed the ball badly leading to 60% or lower passing percentage, couldn't convert on easy one-on-one or penalty kick situations or made a colossal mistake clearing the ball leading to an easy goal for CPU.

I'd say the only time I've ever quit a game in CM is when one of my players got a red card in the 10th minute for a phantom call. I was so pissed I raged quit. But besides that I let the match play out whether I am down 3-0 or up 3-0.

im done with this discussion, just my personal views.... if you sim games, replay losses, then to me your victories will never count much to me because i like the ppl who play the games and actually manage their teams through the ups & DOWNS.

its like getting on here and saying this

"Hey everybody I just finished undefeated, I lost 15 games but i just restarted them!!! and then I won the Champions League, Barcelona & Bayern both beat me, so i just restarted!!! i also simmed every single game!"

like there is no bragging rights with that lol

also, i'd shoot myself before spending hours sitting on this games laggy menus simming games and in a laggy slow transfer menu lol

I like keeping up with people's career modes on Youtube; a lot of them do a great job with the presentation but I can't help but think that it'd be more entertaining if they were playing on Legendary with modified sliders. Most of them play on professional and a few play on world class default sliders.

Arguably the biggest Youtuber who does FIFA videos, MGH, stated in a video he'd never mess with the sliders because it wouldn't be a "realistic game." I believe he played on world class for most of his 34 videos he's released this season but recently switched to legendary and started to drop a lot of games, which is why he commented on the topic of sliders. He said he wishes there was a middle ground between legendary and world class yet scoffed at the idea of adjusting sliders.

I responded to his statement with
"You really think using sliders wouldn't make it a realistic game? I use sliders I got from a popular forum made by a guy whose goal it was to make the game realistic. I play on legendary with his sliders and find the game challenging but realistic. Sliders are the way to go for a true simulation. Why don't you think sliders make the game realistic?"

I got about 12 thumbs up so far but no response from MGH.

I don't understand the mentality of the Youtubers who make CM videos with the intention of making it entertaining yet realistic but they don't mess with the sliders or game speed. Then again I have yet to see any Youtuber play 15 minute halves like we do.

the game comes unrealistic. Fifa has to make sure they appeal to everybody & to all the noobs who will come on here & other boards or twitter and cry if it aint easy enough for them....

they put the sliders in for people who want a realistic game, thats why 2k has it, madden & NCAA...

this is just because the guys don't understand the philosophy behind tweaking sliders for balance, they judge it just as a way to cheat the cpu (which they CAN be used for, but it's NOT what we do here).

or they just tried a set made by someone else and found the game boring with the slow pace/15min/manual controls usual thing, without realizing they can make slighter slider adjustments to still keep the game playing to their tastes.

PSG Releases plans for injury
After Thiago Motta broke his ankle in a preseason friendly, many PSG fans wondered who would play his spot, Centerback. Manager Jack Jackson made a statement to the media regarding this.

"Currently, our plan is to bring in a Centerback on loan to play his position. For now, we are rotating between two of our subs. Hopefully this will give them experience."

Jackson also denied rumors that the team was going to sell Zlatan Ibrahimovic to Barcelona FC, saying "we won't sell our best player". When asked who would be captain at the start of the season, Jackson stalled, saying that he would decide after game one of the season.

A question for anyone who's already gone through 5+ years in a CM: Do some players simply never develop, no matter how much they play or how long they are at your club?

I ask because I'm in year 5 of my CM and Kurt Zouma is still 74 OVR, which is his original rating. I bought him in my second season, but he's only slightly improved a few physical attributes so far. I'm getting to the point where my CB youth players will be at least 73 OVR or better in the next season, so should I try to sell Zouma now or wait to see if he has a big jump in development? He's still only 23 years old.

In my CM zouma is 83 9 years in so he doesn't grow like he did in FIFA 13

His peak is 85 according to sofifa, but 83 is still a lot different than 74.

I guess my question is if some players start to really develop to their potential in their mid-20's or just never at all?
