It is still awesome to read about all of your careers though!

I decided to start a League 2 career with Southend United. I am not sure if anyone had plans to do so, if you did I'll willingly change my team. I hope to get my first update ready on Tuesday. Hope you will take a look and tell me if I could change anything!
welcome. I believe someone here considered doing a Soutend Utd. CM but ended up choosing a different team so you should br clear for takeoff!

How's Your FIFA 14 Career Mode Going?

        BREAKING NEWS

Scotland FA Need A Savior - Chavez #1 Candidate
Wimbledon - The Scotland National Team have been going through a tough time recently, and their fans are worried that their team will be nothing more than a tourist at the upcoming European Championship. Scotland has are far from favorites, and have struggled to make an impact on the international stage, failing time and time again. This year they strive to at least reach the quarter finals of the Euro Cup, but they share a tough group with Greece, France, and Spain. To make things worse, the team has only been able to get 1 win (vs Northern Ireland) in their past 4 friendlies, and people have lost their trust on currents manager Gordon Strachan. The Scotland Football Association are desperate to bring in a manager that can give them immediate results and an ease of mind. Among the possible candidates is AFC Wimbledon manager Chavez, who has achieved 3 amazing promotions in just 3 years with a "weak" squad. Here are a few words from one of the board members:

"Chavez is an outstanding manager but we have a manager under contract at the moment. One thing that's caught my eye though is the fact that Chavez has spread his youth academy at Wimbledon into Scotland. We appreciate his interest in giving young Scottish players an opportunity. Please, no further questions on the matter though. Like I said, we have a manager under contract that we must respect."

Despite the board member's words, it is believed and 90% confirmed that an official contract offer has been sent to Chavez. Scotland want a response by June 18th, the day that the European Championship begins, giving Chavez exactly 2 weeks to decide if he's up for the challenge.

From Wimbledon this has been ChicoBass for HYFCMG, bringing you the latest news at Kingsmeadow. We will give you the exclusive news on this subject as soon as we can get our hands on them. Thanks for reading!

          Dagenham - '14-'15 Season
          August Update

Board Objectives: Finish mid table and reach the Round of 32 in the local Cup.

TRANSFERS OUT: Jordan Seabright (GK, 52 OVR), on season loan at Najran SC; Jake Reed (ST, 59 OVR), sold to Morecambe FC for $190K; Sean Shields (CAM, 59 OVR), sold to Stevenage for $190K; Luke Howell (CM, 61 OVR), sold to Shrewsbury Town for $200K; Xabi Lopez (CDM, 55 OVR), on season loan at Morecambe FC; Brian Woodall (ST, 60 OVR), sold to Doncaster for $220K.
TRANSFERS IN: Kevin Osei (CAM, 60 OVR), purchased from Marseille for $280K.

Osei replaces Howell and Shields is replaced by Fabian Torres (promoted from the academy at the end of last season). I do have one more move I'm trying to make - I won't give you the name but just know he's a Colombian striker (maybe from the Colombian league, MAYBE). Other than that I feel pretty good about my roster.

GK - Jordan Derbyshire (60 OVR) - Our present and future at GK. Just 16 Y/O but "showing great potential".
RB - Curtis Obeng (61 OVR) - Hoping to solidify his starting spot.
CB - Luke Wilkinson (66 OVR) - The nucleus of my defense. In need of a contract extension which is an immediate priority.
CB - Scott Doe (61 OVR) - A solid player with some room to grow. Also needs a contract extension.
LB - Oluwafemi Ilesanmi (63 OVR) - I would love a performance similar to last season's.
CDM - Abu Ogogo (65 OVR) - El Capitan. Priority 1B for a contract extension.
RM - Gonzalo Escalante (66 OVR) - He is "showing great potential" and we'll need his perform that way.
LM - Medi Elito (62 OVR) - "Has that special something". Explosive player.
CAM - Kevin Osei (60 OVR) - Will need to perform well to remain a starter at this time.
RS - Afolabi Obafemi (57 OVR) - At this point better suited as a super sub but a starter for now.
LS - Josh Scott (56 OVR) - Last season's top scorer for the team is eager to show his 19 goals weren't a fluke.

CM - Tim Payne (60 OVR) - A pleasant surprise out of free agency last winter, will be one of our main subs.
RB - Gavin Hoyte (60 OVR) - Will keep pressure on Obeng for a starting spot.
Brian Saah (59 OVR) - Our main backup CB, should get plenty of playing time this season.
RM - Louis Dennis (58 OVR) - A speed lefty who serves as a backup on both sides of the midfield as well as at striker.
CAM - Fabian Torres (57 OVR) - Signed off the academy at the end of last season. Has a chance to prove his worth on the team.
CB - Ian Gayle (54 OVR) - Provides depth at his position.
LB - Jack Connors (53 OVR) - Very young (19 Y/O) but provides depth.
CB - Ricardo Santos (51 OVR) - Loan listed.

Friendlies: vs. Tigres (3-2 Win), at VfR Aalen (1-1 Draw), vs. Doncaster (0-2, played the 2nd team).

I'll get started with 7 games this month: 5 league, 1 Capital One Cup, and 1 J. Paint Trophy. My team depth will be tested early and often here in the get-go. My own objectives are to at least reach promotion playoffs as well as to win one of the cups.

I LOL'ed. Go ahead and use it, that's why I put it up. But the M/M midfielder should be a H/H and the striker should be H/L, works better that way I found.

Welcome to the forum and welcome to League 2 brother! Thanks for the mention it truly means a lot to see that people have been enjoying the Wimbledon career outside of the regular users here. Southend United has been on many user's list but no one has started it one up. Glad to see someone finally has! I signed Jacob Murphy in my first season, phenomenal player! Looking forward to reading your updates!

Once you start winning by huge margins like that, it's time to raise the difficulty. You're ready to move up to world class. The matches will be a lot more realistic and more fun for you

I know we're all going on about League 2, but I just wanted to throw this out there. Anyone playing a career in the top flight with about £12 million to spend on a class striker should seriously consider Yura Movsisyan of Spartak Moskva/Armenia. Available in the first transfer window for £60K per week, he's got pace and strength. His H/L work rates make him a clinical poacher, and he develops by 4-5 overall points into one of the most complete forward packages on a relative budget. I played a couple of games with Spartak on kickoff and loved him... seven goals in three games on Legendary, including two hat-tricks.

I'll be building my first FIFA 15 career around this monster. Hope his ratings are as good in the next game.
