On a real note, I never knew that, thank you for informing me and I look forward to whoever it is. Can I ask what was your problem in the transfer window of West Brom?

      Wycombe Wanderers
      FIFA 14
      Season 1

      March 2014

      MATCHDAY 34 1/3
      Wycombe 2-0 Bury
      J.Scowen (7')
      J.Morias (28') PEN

Man of the Match: Louis Laing

Our first match of March was at home to Bury. We started strong and Laing had a shot which rebounded off the keeper allowing Scowen to poke it in. Scowen had another good chance 2 minutes later but couldn't convert it. On the 28 minute mark Craig was taken down in the box. Morias then tucked the resulting penalty away.

Bloomfield suffered a bruised elbow and will be put for 5 days.

      MATCHDAY 35 4/3
      Exeter City 0-3 Wycombe
      M.McClure (24') (29')
      K.Hause (88')

Man of the Match: Paris Cowan-Hall

A through ball from Valencia to McClure opened the scoring. McClure held off the defender and finished at the keepers near post. 5 minutes later McClure finished his brace when Cowan-Hall got the ball down the right. He crossed it and McClure did a side bicycle kick into the net. Late on Hause added a third when he met an Angol corner in the 88th minute.

      MATCHDAY 36 8/3
      Wycombe 3-0 Southend Utd
      J.Scowen (45')
      B.Finne (59')
      J.Morias (66’)

Man of the Match: Marvin McCoy

For the opening goal, McCoy received the ball on the right and crossed it to Scowen who's header was blocked. He managed to poke the rebound in however. Early in the second half Finne dispossessed a defender on the half way line, out did him for pace then finished at the keeper's near post. A Morias header sealed the match in the 66th minute after a great cross by McCoy.

      MATCHDAY 37 11/3
      Northampton 0-1 Wycombe
      M.McClure (49')

Man of the Match: Charles Dunne

For the goal, Bigirimana took the ball inside the LB to the edge of the box and gave a little chip to McClure, who was a couple yards inside the box. He hit it on the volley first time and it went straight into the left side of the goal.

      MATCHDAY 38 18/3
      Wycombe 1-0 Fleetwood Town
      M.McClure (45')

Man of the Match: Louis Laing

Kretzschmar hit the post in the 34th minute with a great volley from just inside the box. It was McClure again however, with his 4th goal in as many games, who broke the deadlock on the stroke of halftime. Bigirimana slid a ball right down the middle through to him and he finished it under the keeper.

      MATCHDAY 39 28/3
      Accrington 0-0 Wycombe

Man of the Match: Max Kretzschmar

We had won all our games in March before this one which was also our last game of March. It was a disappointing 0-0 draw. We had a couple good chances but we didn't take them.

Sounds like really nice signing to me! I've been looking at a few myself. How much did you pay for these players? Or are you loaning them all?

Loaned in all of them. Sold and sent a few others out on loan, too. If I have any success, it'll be a tough go of it when they all leave.

            Ha Ho He

            January 2018

            Transfers Out

            Salvatore Sirigu
            , €38,000,000
            Mattia de Sciglio
            , €120,000,000

            Transfers In

            Timothy Chandler

75 Ovr, Right Back, 27 Years Old, United States of America

            €900,000 + Dennis Diekmeier

The cheapest signing of the transfer window made by Hertha BSC was buying the German-American Timothy Chandler from Eintracht Frankfurt for just under one million euros and Dennis Diekmeier. When starting right back Mattia de Sciglio was missing due to an injury Diekmeier had troubles replacing him and Chandler will be taking that back up spot.

            Hakan Calhanoglu

88 Ovr, Attacking Midfielder, 23 Years Old, Turkey

            €3,000,000 + Mario Götze

He is back! Exactly a year ago Hertha BSC sold their star player Hakan Calhanoglu to Bayern München for €100 million and the Berliners bought Mario Götze from them. Now, a year later, Calhanoglu and Götze have returned to their respective clubs. Some fans may think that Hertha lost in this deal but the majority of fans are happy to see their star midfielder return to the club.

            Juan Iturbe

84 Ovr, Right Winger, 24 Years Old, Argentina

            €5,000,000 + Domenico Berardi

This was the third deal Hertha Berlin made in which they recruited a player and let one of their players go. This time they traded Domenico Berardi who didn't have a good time in Berlin for the Argentinian young talent Juan Iturbe from Paris Saint-Germain. The German team also payed five million for him. Iturbe is a skillful and pacy talented winger who will get a lot of playing time off the bench.

            Serge Aurier

83 Ovr, Right Back, 25 Years Old, Ivory Coast

            €24,000,000

There were two possible replacements for Mattia de Sciglio who departed for a record fee: Serge Aurier and Daniel Carvajal. Bids were reported for both of the right backs on the deadline day but at the end PSG's Aurier got bought for €24 million by the Berliners to replace de Sciglio. Aurier is a young talent who is pacy and rounded player who can also play on the wings.

            Aymeric Laporte

83 Ovr, Centre Back, 23 Years Old, France

            €24,000,000

Another signing made on transfer deadline day was the Basque defender Aymeric Laporte who joined Hertha BSC for a fee of €24 million. The defender made a name for himself in the 2013-14 season and since then he has been one of the biggest defensive talents for the future. Laporte has been an important part of Athletic Club's back four but now he decided it was time to leave. He will probably be a third-choice centre back after Mats Hummels and Fabian Schär.

            Nemanja Matic

85 Ovr, Defensive Midfielder, 29 Years Old, Serbia

            €27,000,000

A world class defensive midfielder was what Hertha BSC needed to sign after Junior Malanda was inconsistent in the last few months. His replacement in the starting eleven will be Nemanja Matic who was bought from Chelsea for just under thirty million euros. The 29-year-old Serb is a strong and defensive minded player who should sit perfectly in the role that is appointed to him.

            Thibaut Courtois

87 Ovr, Goalkeeper, 25 Years Old, Belgium

            €40,500,000

The most expensive signing Hertha BSC made was Thibaut Courtois for forty million euros. The young keeper has been one of the world's best keepers for the last four years, starting from his last season at Atletico Madrid. From there he went to Chelsea when his loan expired and there he took the starting spot from Petr Cech. Now he will continue his career at Berlin's best, non-communist team which has never brainwashed anyone and always fight for freedom. Courtois has great reflexes and he has made a lot of wonderful saves in his career.

            FC Augsburg 0 - 2 Hertha BSC
            Götze 10', Gaya 48'

            Hertha BSC 1 - 0 Bayern München
            Iturbe 79'

            Hamburger SV 1 - 3 Hertha BSC
            Müller 34'
            Calhanoglu 27', Suarez 61', Sanchez 87'

            League Table

            1. Hertha BSC, 57 pts
            2. Borussia Dortmund, 44 pts
            3. Hannover 96, 43 pts
            4. Bayer Leverkusen, 36 pts
            5. FC Schalke 04, 35 pts
            6. VfL Wolfsburg 35 pts
            ---------------------------------------------------
            16. Hamburger SV, 17 pts
            17. FC Kaiserslautern, 16 pts
            18. VfL Bochum, 10 pts

            Press Conference

You are still leading the league by a huge amount of points. Are you proud about that?

Why would I be proud? The players are doing all the work and securing the points, I'm just on the sideline shouting some minor improvements. Of course I'm proud as a manager about how the team is doing and that a team I have build is dominating the league but I can't say it's all thanks to me.

You got eliminated in the cup by Bayern München thanks to two a bit controversial goals. What happened in that game?

Like you said, we conceded two terrible, aweful, shi**y goals quickly and that effected our moral a bit. We managed to pull one back but once again the overrated clown who is known as Guardiola decided to defend his lead like a team from the third division with all players staying behind the ball. We controlled the game but sadly we weren't able to get through their players. No way did they deserve to win.

Alright, let's continue to the Champions League. You won your group and you will face Lille in the round of 16. Any expectations from that tie?

Yes, I have one expectation and that is victory from both legs. Anything else will be considered a terrible failure. Lille are not a good team and they have had the same players for the last five years. They have an average defence but that's it. If we don't beat them in both legs there will be some big punishments.

Why did you sell de Sciglio and Sirigu?

Because we received huge offers for them. We got profit from selling Sirigu and in Mattia's case the deal was too good to decline. 120 million for a defender is an unbelievable amount of money for any kind of player.

What were the reasons behind signing who you did?

They are all good players and they will improve the team. That's basically it.

What lead to you bringing Calhanoglu back?

He is a quality player and Mario (Götze) was a bit unhappy lately and he didn't feel good here in Berlin. We decided to offer Bayern a trade and they accepted it. I think it was the right decision because Hakan is a great player and I have always loved him.

There have been rumours about you being a communist and hating capitalism and also about you brainwashing Hertha's fans. What do you think about them?

Those rumours are childish, pathetic and complete rubbish! I am not a communist and I will never be one. I do not hate capitalism like some may say, I just see a couple flaws in it but that doesn't mean I hate it. And that brainwashing part is ridiculous, how can anyone even come up with something like that?! I am a manager of a football club, not some crazy dictator like Stalin or Hitler. Now piss off!

Thank you for reading this post! I hope you have enjoyed it! Any feedback or suggestions will be appreciated!

I don't think so. You know, a man has to do what a man has to do. If I get €120 million I will use it. I had €17 million left after those signings that I used for contracts and better youth scouts.

To be honest, there is still a few areas I would like to make stronger in the team...

Yes, that was huge amount of money. It's ridiculous how high some offers are this year. I have sold three or four players for about 100 million each.

At first I was looking at German keepers but I wanted something better and I decided to get Courtois. I bought Matic because Malanda started suffering from the Rode syndrome and Matic was great for me in my Hertha career in Fifa 14.

There are massive offers this year alright! They'll be tanks for you. What other areas were you thinking you could strengthen?

A back-up CAM is what I want to bring in. Maybe a better substitute striker, too. The first eleven is great as it is.

No, I don't have any targets in mind. Maybe someone like Max Meyer or another German young midfielder would be good
