Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
Thanks! I wanted to share those penalty saves so you guys could see them yourselves and give you a little of the excitement I went through. Thanks for the feedback on them. I couldn't believe it when I saved two penalties in a row. I type the update on my iPhones notes and then copy and paste them over here and add little details while making sure I typed the codes right. Since I had so many pictures on this one my phone crashed a couple times as I tried to upload them all. I feel like your updates are much harder to do though I don't think I would be able to make video updates like yourself. THAT is dedication! Not to mention being able to do that without your girlfriend noticing hahaCheck out my Pitt Panthers Dynasty (NCAA Football 14)

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
Good results the only one i think was bad was that draw against Cardiff, but you still remain in the top of the table.Good game imo since you scored two goals against Juventus away that gives you a small advantage,Man City was a derby and derby are unpredictable.Last edited by TrickStar7x; 12-27-2014, 12:48 PM.Fav. Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
FIFA 15 | PS3 | Season 1 | 2014-15
The Swans
SpoilerThe Swans Budget and Objectives Announced
The Swansea City board have given new manager Patrick Hayes a £8 million transfer budget and a £80k wage budget. They have also set the following objectives to be achieved by Hayes and the team in the 2014-15 season: Qualify for the Euro League and reach the Round of 16 in the cup. Hayes said in a statement today that he confident he will be able to reach the goals set by the board with his current squad of players. He has been given free rein on who he signs but it remains to be seen whether or not he will purchase anyone in the current window. He may decide to keep the current squad as it is and make the necessary changes in January. Unfortunately Mr. Hayes was unable to attend a press conference as he was busy with the teams preseason preparations. He has arranged matches against SM Caen, SC Bastia and Napoli.
A blow though as Gylfi Sigurosson is out for 7 weeks while he recovers from an Anterior Cruciate Ligament injury.
In order to set up the Youth Academy as quickly as possible Ruairi Waters from Ireland has been brought in for 637k. He has been sent to unearth talent in England for a period of 9 months. Will he find the next Raheem Sterling, Ross Barkley or Daniel Sturridge? Or will another average Joe walk through the doors of the Swansea City Academy that Hayes wants to make famous

Barclays Premier League
Match 1
Man United 5-1 Swansea
MANU - Van Persie 6' 76' Di Maria 35' Rooney 81' 86'
SWA - Bony 78'
MOTM: Wayne Rooney
Hayes' first match in the Premier League started badly at Old Trafford as RVP scored within 6 minutes when he was allowed time in the box. Di Maria scored a 2nd when he turned and finished. There were 4 goals scored in the last 15 minutes starting with RVP completing his brace before Bony got us on the scoresheet heading in a Routledge cross. 2 goals in the latter stages for Rooney ended the game 5-1 against us. A poor start but we hope to bounce back against Burnley.
Match 2
Swansea 2-1 Burnley
SWA - Dyer 12' Sigurosson 29'
BRN - Jones 62'
MOTM: Lukasz Fabianski
Looking to bounce back from the hammering at the hands of United we hosted Burnley at the Liberty Stadium in our first home game of the season. Bony played through Dyer and he finished coolly. Rangel then played the ball to Sigurosson who struck it first time into the top corner. A beautiful strike. Jones gave Burnley hope when he found his way between our defence and finished it. We shut them out however and earned our first victory of the season.
Match 3
Swansea 2-2 West Brom
SWA - Bony 66' 77' Pen
WBA - Sessegnon 16' Dorrans 81'
MOTM: Wilfried Bony
Hoping to add another win we hosted West Brom in our 3rd game of the season. It started badly when Sessegnon scored for the visitors 16 minutes in. In the 2nd half Canas put Bony through and he finished it well with his left foot. 10 minutes later Foster was tackled by Bony. Foster took him down and a penalty was given. (How wasn't it a red?!?!) Bony stepped up and gave us the lead. Dorrans ruined the party 9 minutes from time when he found space and fired home. 4 points from 9 in Hayes first 3 games.
Payer of the Month
Wilfried Bony
The Ivorian claims the first Player of the Month award. His strength caused defenders all sorts of problems up front and he scored 3 goals in 3 games in the League. He also assisted 1 goal.

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
I've been trying him up on his own and with either Emmes or Gomis. Emmes has good acceleration so I prefer to have him with Bony or Gomis as they are both similar. I want to get a better quality, pacey striker in January though. Anyone have any suggestions?Comment

Glory Glory Man United
March 2016
Aston Villa 2 - 3 Manchester United
Samedov 17', Benteke 48'
Firmino 12', Chicharito 60', Rooney 69'
Champions League Round of 16
Manchester United (4) 2 - 0 (2) Juventus
Rooney 3', Nani 90'
The first leg of the Champions League round of 16 match up between these two teams ended in a two all draw. Both teams knew that and the pressure was on Juventus who needed to win by a goal. That didn't happen today. Wayne Rooney pressed high early in the game and managed to steal the ball from Giorgio Chiellini which led to United's captain scoring the first goal. Juventus tried hard to equalise but they failed at that. Especially Carlos Tevez, who used to play for Manchester United, had a terrible night putting all of his three shots off target. In stoppage time the Red Devils scored one more when Robin van Persie passed the ball back to Nani who slotted the ball into the bottom left corner. Next opponent: Barce-freaking-lona.
FA Cup Quarter Final
Manchester City 1 - 2 Manchester United
Milner 42'
Firmino 82', Mata 90'
The Manchester derby was going to be played in the FA Cup a month later than it was played in the league. United were hungry for revenge after City beat them thanks to two late goals. The game started well for the Citizens who got the lead right before half time with a James Milner header. It looked like they would win the game until the last fifteen minutes when Manchester United managed to do what they have done often in the last years. Roberto Firmino scored his second goal for the club in the 82nd minute by shooting the ball to the top right corner from a pass. Ten minutes later Juan Mata scored the winner from a counter attack and an assist by Chicharito.
Arsenal 2 - 2 Manchester United
Podolski 7', Koscielny 82'
Rooney 29', Chicharito 65'
This game between two rivals of the past years witnessed an extremely stressed and angry Corleone on the sidelines starting from the seventh minute. Jack Wilshere played a long pass to Danny Welbeck but the ball was too long and David De Gea catched it. Sadly Chris Smalling's dark side took control of him again as he tackled Welbeck without any reason. From the following free kick Lukas Podolski curled the ball into the net which led into Corleone substituting Smalling off and shouting at him and kicking a bottle at the sidelines. Luckily the Red Devils' captain Wayne Rooney equalised twenty minutes later with a free kick and Chicharito then scored after the hour mark from a counter attack. The Gunners didn't give up and Laurent Koscielny equalised the game in the 82nd minute from a pass that Phil Jones could've cleared but he decided to slide like an idiot instead. The draw put Manchester United into second place in the league. It's unclear what Corleone did in the dressing room but it's very likely that the centre back duo won't forget what happened.
Champions League Quarter Final
FC Barcelona 2 - 1 Manchester United
Suarez 9' pen, Messi 58'
Chicharito 72'
Manchester United had another extremely frustrating game, this time in the Champions League quarter final against Barcelona. Corleone showed that he doesn't like to be messed with as neither of the Arsenal heroes who saved the Gunners from a loss three days earlier wasn't in the starting eleven. The game didn't start off well for United as they conceded from the penalty spot only five minutes into the game. The remaining 35 minutes of the first half were controlled by Manchester United but Claudio Bravo was incredible in goal. He even saved a penalty in the 20th minute. In the first fifteen minutes of the second half Barcelona scored their second in typical Barca style: with a lot of passes. The game started to look brighter in the 72nd minute for the Red Devils as Chicharito scored after running into the box. Sadly the game wasn't mean to be won by the English side as they hit the crossbar in the 85th minute and failed to score from another counter attack.
Player of the Month
Javier Hernandez
There were only two possible options this month, the other being Wayne Rooney. Both of them scored three goals but the goals scored by Hernandez, or Chicharito, were more important and considering his playing time he did a better job on the pitch.
League Table

Press Conference
You had a good month in the league except for the Arsenal game. How did you play in the league in your opinion?
We were terrible. We played only twice in the league and both of those games were way too even and we didn't concentrate well enough. At least we won the game against Aston Villa but the game against Arsenal was absolutely horrible. I still can't believe what Chris (Smalling) and Phil (Jones) did in that game. They deserved to be benched for the Barcelona game. I haven't talked about this publicly but now I will. I think we need three new defenders in the team because the recent games have shown how bad our defence is.
You aren't first in the league anymore.
No, we aren't but we are second only by goal difference. Also, I'm sure that Chelsea will drop some points. We don't have any games against top teams left except for one against Spurs and I think we can beat them. The pressure is on Chelsea, not on us.
You progressed to the FA Cup semi finals. Are you happy about this?
Yes, of course I am. It's always great to reach the semi finals, especially after beating a rival to do so. Now we just need to get to the final and win our first piece of silverware.
You also made it to the Champions League quarter finals but you lost the first leg.
Yes we did and I think we played well against Juve in the second leg of the round of 16. Sadly, like you said, we lost the game against Barcelona. I don't think we deserved to lose that game and in my opinion we got very, very unlucky. We missed a penalty, hit the crossbar and the post and defended poorly. We will do our best to beat them in the home leg.

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
Have 2 player career modes going, but having some trouble and a few questions as well:
1) Is there anything I can do to progress my player quicker? Apparently scoring 10+ per game, averaging 4 or 5 assists as well isn't enough.
2) What do I have to do to find a club that I can start most of the games with and not have them buy another player that's 2 overall better while I'm there on loan?
3) What is this whole "interview" icon I see on the calendar legend and when if ever will this become an option?
I don't play all that often and would love to get a player into at least the mid 80's that I could play with on a higher level, but for building purposes I'm in the beginner level and hoping my gaudy stats are helping to grow my player.Comment

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
Chicharito!! Always glad to see him scoring and in your good graces. This month had it's good and bad. Great job on getting past Juventus and avenging your earlier defeat against City. Losing against Barcelona by 2-1 isn't bad at all considering it's Barcelona. Looking forward to the nerd update and seeing how the return leg went down! I'm sure you analyzed the match and will change a couple things to counter them. Like maybe Smalling and Jones were missed that day against Barca? Haha I couldn't believe it when you subbed off Smalling just 7 minutes into the Arsenal match. I feel you though I've had those matches too when I want to just terminate their contract there in the dressing room hahaComment

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
I remember that. You conceded goals like that in basically every other game. Luckily the war fixed your game. Even if it destroyed our relations, at least for a while, it helped you continue the career.
I know that the first one is kinda boring with all the walking and talking and that the last one is simply epic. I know what happens in the movies but I still should watch them at some point. I also like the Hobbit movies a lot but the newest one was really bad in my opinion. I felt like leaving the movie theatre about five minutes into it. Don't let my opinion ruin your experience, though.
I just now realised that I was unclear in the post. I meant to post here about Fifa and stuff while working but working at a Gamestop could be cool. I would prefer working at a place where I could talk about movies because I don't play that much games, except for Fifa and a couple of games. But those work places aren't really where I want to end up. I dream big. Maybe even too big.
Our relations were destroyed? Haha
Dang really that bad huh? I'll probably go watch it soon now that Christmas is done with and I have money again lol you should still give Shadow of Mordor a try though. I keep getting side tracked with personal rivalries that I forget to play the story lol
Gotcha. Well if you keep dreaming big you might become CEO of Operation Sports or something and then you'll be able to post here all day! Lol jk good thinking man keep shooting big never change that mentality. Employers like to see ambition.
Thanks man! I think my biggest challenge now will be making another career mode that will also be enjoyed and live up to my Wimbledon career.Comment

Nerd update?? Are you calling me a nerd?! I will catch the next plane to America and show who is the nerd here. Damn son, I'm mad now. Wait, it was a typo? Or autocorrect's fault? Nevermind in that case. Also, I really didn't analyze the game at all. When I lose at FIFA I just... keep on going forwards. And the only thing I know went wrong against Barca was missing so many good chances. And Bravo was really good. And no, Smalling (who isn't a starter) and Jones were not missed. I will not accept that.
I was really pissed off when that happened. De Gea caught the ball and I was ready to start a counter attack but the game stopped. I went to see the replay and I couldn't believe that Smalling (who I wasn't controlling) had tackled Welbeck which resulted in the free kick. I facepalmed and said to myself that if they score from the free kick Smalling is getting subbed off. You know how that story ended.Last edited by Simppu12; 12-27-2014, 06:27 PM.-Simppu12-

I will try my best not to spoil the movie but in my opinion it was very predictable, a little bit corny, full of clichés and too action-filled. It wasn't a terrible movie but it wasn't a good one, either. Hopefully you will enjoy it.
CEO of Operation Sports... hmm...
I feel like I'm shooting too big because I simply don't have the €104,000 that I would need but if I don't give up I guess I could make it. By the way, what was your dream job as a kid? I just thought about that.
I really hate to say this but from the teams you have mentioned (Guadalajara, Leeds and Union Berlin) I would enjoy a career with Union Berlin the most. Simply because there hasn't been that many Bundesliga careers here, because it would be cool to see you make your way to the top of Europe again and because there would be the Hertha-Union rivalry which I'm sure you could do interesting and fun stories with.
If you don't want to post the Guadalajara career in big updates at least keep us updated every now and then on what's happening in the career.Last edited by Simppu12; 12-27-2014, 06:35 PM.-Simppu12-
