Nice to see you in 1st place already, everyone knows the Championship was a battle for me at Dagenham for 2 seasons.
I'm playing a custom 4-2-3-1, a regular back four with two CDM in front and then one CAM and then two offensive wingers and a lone striker, Lingard hasn't been playing well for me at all to be honest so he isn't even in the starting eleven anymore but to be fair to him that's probably because I have used him as a LW insted of CAM due to Cataldi being such a beast for me in the CAM position so I am not really sure what to do with Lingard...

Cataldi really is something else. He's worth picking up in any career, whether it's for playing or investment purposes. Lingard is good, but I don't like him on the wing for his stamina. Try Cataldi at LM. He played there for me a few times and had the dribbling ability to do well, despite the lack of searing pace.

I've tried a Dutch league career. It's just not competitive enough for me. The big three/four are always miles ahead of everyone else. No other team ever has a shot.

Well, I did yell at the little weed that saved over Nantes. My wife said I was overreacting, but she wasn't mad since I didn't yell at her nephew. Malaga has been a long time coming. Toppling the big boys of Spain could be an option, especially with Valencia making a comeback.

I've pretty much always relied on autosaves for progress. Thought I learned my lesson well and good once a long time ago, but it seems I let bad habits take over again. Trust me, I've learned properly this time. I'm making a new save on the first day of each month from now on.

It feels like I have unfinished business in France...

        **********

First of all, you guys have the right to know what happened with Nantes. I got as far as December 1, when I was top of the table on goal difference, with just two points separating me from fourth place. Younes Marzouk had got off to a flying start, bagging 11 goals in his first 8 appearances, including a brace against PSG, who we beat 3-0. We beat Dundee 4-2 in the first Europa League match, downed PAOK (who were really good) 1-0, and then beat Leverkusen... 5-1. Gakpe hat-trick, four assists for Cataldi, 96% pass completion for Veretout with more than 65 attempted, and 6 saves from Riou. It was the PERFECT team performance. My lowest-rated player that game was Sidibe, who got a 7.8!

All said and done, I think I could do a job with Nantes again. We'd just need to pretend the whole first season never happened. It's weird, because I was thinking after my 1-0 loss to Nice that I might have done things slightly different in the first season if I'd known some things I learned in the second, and now I have the chance. Since I can't decide, I want people to vote.

        http://strawpoll.me/3406013
I voted Malaga. I'd like to see you do a career in Spain. If you repeat with Nantes I just feel that it wouldn't be the same as the first one. Just my opinion. Go with what you feel is best.

Simppu congratulations on the quadruple! You have another tough poll going on now. I wanted you to return to Verona, especially now that you've won everything with United, but the WC changes everything. I would like to see how far you can take Bulgaria especially since you relate to that country. It would also be interesting if you were to return to Verona and later get the Bulgaria offer with more time to prepare for the WC and maybe even do some youth scouting there. I haven't voted yet since I'm still unsure. Last time I checked the poll was still tied too!

Texasbum I forgot to mention that I think Czech Republic would be a great choice! Hopefully you can get the offer and get some youth scouting there. As for the defensive tips, I don't think I'm the right guy to give you tips since I'm still improving my defensive work on 15 myself. On 14 I knew exactly what I wanted, now on 15 I'm having a tougher time with that. I think it's just a bad run your players are going through. They already showed they can be extremely good even on legendary.

Indiblue Man terrible luck with your career modes. I would like to see Nantes but I know that I wouldn't be able to do it all over again. Malaga would be a good career choice. Good timing too they already got rid of Santa Cruz he's in Mexico now lol I don't think you overreacted yelling at the kid man. I would've been extremely pissed. I see my girlfriend telling me the same thing too. Women. They just don't understand what FIFA really is.

Looooool, that pic is funny mostly because he kind of looks like the b*stard I yelled at. I use default squads BTW, so I can sell RSC for a bit of change.

I'll be leaving the poll up until tomorrow and going with the results. I'll also get around to commenting on everyone's updates then. Simp, congrats on the quadruple!

Thanks! I was sure that I would return to Verona but then I thought about the World Cup and it convinced me that I need to spend another season with them. The two qualifiers I played were intense and I was sweating and I really celebrated the goals, it just feels a lot more important when I'm using my country. I have been thinking about waiting for the job with Verona but there are three problems: 1) I might not get the offer, 2) Bulgaria were already second in the qualification group when I took over (usually they are in the bottom two), and 3) you can't scout there in the game. I have no idea why you can't and that irritates me.

Thank you, too, Tex! You two have to make a hard decision.

They do look a bit weird, don't they?

Hello again! Time to type about our last month of play.

I missed the first game of the month against. Most of you might have read the papers, where there was written that I missed the game against Northampton due to being called up to represent England.

I wish that was true. The truth however was that I went for an eye surgery to fix my bad sight. Hopefully I can be more effective now. I feel a lot better and everything looks like in HD, yet I don't think my eyes are used to it aswell. Hopefully they can go back to normal next month.

                      Look at it go, keeper!

Right, so MY first game of the month was against Cheltenham Town. Boy, it started very tough. Cheltenham kept pushing on us, hitting the post. Then, Wilson took one of their players down in the box. Penalty.

Harrison struck it right down the middle. Luckily, Roche was at the right spot and saved it. We pushed up on a counter instantly. I got the pass and gave it to Redshaw, who was 1-on-1 with the keeper. However, it went out for a corner. A great save from the keeper, I might add.

The ball came in from the corner. I broke through the defense and hammered it in! A great goal to get the scoring started. A few minutes later, I got taken down in the box. Now it was my time to take a penalty.

Keeper stood in the middle as I hammered it into the left corner. 2-0! Already a compfortable lead for half-time. I did not stop there. Just before the end of half-time, I somehow broke through and got 1-on-1 with the keeper. And unlike Redshaw (no offense if you are reading this, buddy!), I did not miss it! Hat-trick in 45 minutes!

We did however conside a goal in the second half - Harrison took a long shot, which got saved by Roche. As I turned around to go up the pitch, I heard this screaming. Apperantly, he had fumbled the ball and it went in.

The game ended 3-1 though, so nothing to worry about. I think the surgery actually helped a lot. I feel really good while on the pitch.

                      Completely open

After that, we had to go against Bury. A rather difficult game, with both teams going at it. Roche was keeping us in the game while they had help from the goalposts.

Our goal came in the 90th minute, as some good passing game got me open in the box and let me take the shot. The keeper did save it, but it bounced over him to the goal. A close victory for us, yet a good one. Bury is a very difficult team and possible could be a team we would face in the playoffs.

I got to take a rest against Accrington Stanley, a game that the team won 2-1!

                      Look at it roll in!

Our last game was going to be against Carlisle United. In order to actually have a clean month, we needed to take this game aswell. The first shot of the game did fall for us, as I passed the ball to Fleming. He ran into the box and passed it back to me. I took the shot, right to the bottom corner. It was kinda weak but pretty accurate, so the keeper had no chance. A few minutes later, I passed the ball to Redshaw, who hit it well, but straight to the bar.

Carlisle did not have a lot of good chances, most of them went really wide. Their best chance came when an over the top ball went over our defense and got headed by Asamoah. We were calling offside - and the ref agreed with us.

That was the game, a 1-0 victory to us. A month without dropping any points, even if I had to miss 2 games.

Anyway, thanks for reading. The season is going to end in 2 months, so hopefully we can keep on performing.

                      Take care!

                        Matchday 9:

                        Cardiff City – Millwall (0-4)

                        • 44’ Ciftci (Williams) (0-1)
                        • 70’ Young (OG) (0-2)
                        • 80’ Ciftci (Cowan-Hall) (0-3)
                        • 90’ Ciftci (P) (0-4)

Recap: Going into this game between the first placed Millwall and second place Cardiff City we expected a very close game that could go either way but it couldn’t be further from how it ended up. Millwall showed their class by demolishing the until now undefeated Cardiff City with 4-0 and it’s even more impressive when you consider that it was an away game for Millwall. If they continue playing like this it seems that no one will be able stop them from gaining promotion.

MOTM: Nacir Ciftci: He just keeps scoring goals for fun at the moment, scoring a hat-trick against the second placed team in the league who until now was undefeated, what is there to say really except that he is in such amazing form and really showing what a good player he is.

                        Matchday 10:

                        Millwall – Bolton (5-0)
                        • 15’ Trapp (Ciftci) (1-0)
                        • 25’ Trapp (Cowan-Hall) (2-0)
                        • 40’ Ciftci (Cowan-Hall) (3-0)
                        • 49’ Ciftci (4-0)
                        • 90’ Martin (Cowan-Hall)

Recap: A game between a mid-table team and the league leaders who has already faced each other in the Capital one cup in which Millwall had a convincing 4-1 win and when you take that game and how their season has gone this far you would consider Millwall to be favourites in this game and they did not disappoint. Millwall walks away with a 5-0 win in which they tried a new formation an offensive 4-3-3and Millwall also gave some of the subs a chance to impress and Cowan-Hall certainly took his chance by being the MOTM and assisting to three goals of the goals.

MOTM: Paris Cowan-Hall: Assisted to three goals and was a constant threat on our right side by not only staying wide but also run into the middle and play some amazing through balls and challenging the fullbacks and centre backs in one on one’s and beating them almost every time.

                        Matchday 11:

                        Charlton Athletic – Millwall (0-2)

                        • 45’ Trapp (Martin) (0-1)
                        • 90’ Lingard (Ciftci) (0-2)

Recap: A really though game between Charlton and Millwall that easily could have ended in a draw or even a win for Charlton if Charlton would have been more effective in their shooting, Millwall did not play like their usual self’s, their defence didn’t perform their midfield and strikers also had an off day but due to some individual skill they despite this walked away with the win.

MOTM: Wil Trapp: In a game where not many players performed at their best Wil Trapp had a really good game where he defended the back four extremely well as well as making threatening runs forward and one of these resulted in the first goal of the game

                        Matchday 12:

Millwall – Blackburn (2-0) (Reserve Team)

                        • 62’ Gueye (Gregory) (1-0)
                        • 85’ Fuller (Upson) (2-0)

Recap: After a very tight and uneventful first half Millwall come out flying in the second half after Erik Falaph made the brilliant decision to switch to a 4-2-2-2 formation to be able to put pressure at the Blackburn defence higher up the pitch and it worked. Both Millwall’s goals came from attacks that started with that the attackers put pressure on the defenders and then stole the ball from them.

MOTM: Byron Webster: Was a rock in the defence who didn’t let a single player past him and if it hadn’t been for his brilliant defending the match could have ended differently.

Capital one cup: Round of 16

                        Millwall – Arsenal (3-0)

                        • 6’ Martin (Cowan-Hall) (1-0)
                        • 40’ Martin (Cowan-Hall) (2-0)
                        • 90’ Martin (Ciftci) (3-0)

Recap: Arsenal was heavy favourites going into this London derby cup game against championship leaders Millwall but it was Millwall who clearly came out on top with their 3-0 victory. Millwall fans will remember this victory for years to come and hope that Millwall can continue their cup run now that they are only 2 games from the final.

MOTM: Lee Martin: had a completely amazing game! The left winger scored three goals! He was a constant threat on the left wing but all his goals came from him drifting in towards the middle and use the space that was between the centre backs and the right back.

                        Grant (Derby) 5 Clean Sheets

                        October recap:

October was once again an amazing month for Millwall with 4 wins out of 4 games in the league and not even conceding a single goal and scoring at least twice in every game. So the month ended with 12 out of 12 points and 13 goals scored.

There was also a Capital one cup game against giants Arsenal which looked like an impossible task but it certainly wasn’t, in the best performance this season we swiped Arsenal aside with 3-0 and it was completely justified, we dominated from start to finish.

Judging on how the season has gone this far I can’t really see what is going to stop us from reaching promotion or even win the Championship. The team performs so much better than what you would expect if you just look at the individual players.

                        Player of the month:

There were a lot of different players that really stepped up and performed extremely well this month so it is a very difficult task to select who has been the best. My choice is however Paris Cowan-Hall: He has been extremely good this month which shows in that he made 7 assists and played himself into the starting eleven and by that keeping Lingard and Gueye on the bench. In the start of the season he was considered only a squad player that would do the occasional game but he has battled himself into the starting eleven.

                        All feedback is greatley appreciated!

                          CODE RED TEAM!

As I have finished my first season with Morecambe (I ain't spoiling anything yet), I can't advance to the next season. Every time I click "End Season", FIFA decides to crash. Anybody got any clue, what could be the fix of this?

@indiblue man that just hurts losing so much work, that is what most do not understand. The work of putting together a team and finding diamonds in the rough.

@simppu you should stay ore more at Man U. I am in the same boat. I just signed on with US team so I want to give them some WC success. So I have a couple more seasons to go. I am also like showard I am doing league tryouts currently trying Borussia Dortmund ( which I am thoroughly enjoying) and storm gratz. Still doing Man. U and Dageham

Brief Man. U update we pulled out some heroics in Roma to not beat them but beat by enough to push our GD to enough to get to round of 16 to meet up with Bayern for two leg duel coming in February. ( currently one match still left in December.)

                                Glory Glory Man United

                                2017-18 Squad Review

                                Starting XI

GK: Thibaut Courtois, 86 Ovr, 25 Years Old, 8.5/10
12 clean sheets in 28 appearances

We bought Courtois in the January transfer window after Samir Handanovic was a huge flop. Courtois did great job in between the posts in his first few months but then he had a dip in form that resulted to him getting subbed off against Schalke in the Champions League. A good keeper who pulled some amazing saves but he also made some stupid mistakes. Won't get replaced.

RB: Mattia De Sciglio, 84 Ovr, 24 Years Old, 9/10
                                1 assist in 51 appearances

De Sciglio was one of the four defenders that arrived in the summer to improve the defence and he did everything correctly. He was running up and down the left wing, causing problems to the opponent's attackers and defenders. The Italian is fast, strong and he defends well. Won't get replaced.

CB: Mats Hummels, 89 Ovr, 28 Years Old, 8.5/10
                                24 appearances

The German centre back was brought in January to replace the aging Thiago Silva who didn't do well at the club. Hummels was an improvement but he wasn't as good as I wanted him to be. He was solid but he never really shined and he left his man unmarked a couple of times but he still was a good defender. Won't get replaced.

CB: Sergio Ramos, 88 Ovr, 31 Years Old, 9/10
1 goal and 1 assist in 50 appearances

Sergio Ramos was hands down our best centre back this season. The Spaniard did almost everything the right way. He tackled well, he headed well, he kept up to his man well and he commanded the defence well. Ramos did everything I wanted and I'm glad we signed him. Won't get sold.

LB: Fabio Coentrão, 82 Ovr, 29 Years Old, 8/10
                                2 assists in 53 appearances

Our starting left back, who is the last first-choice defender we signed, did an alright job on the left flank. Coentrão attacked a lot and he was good going forwards but in defence he wasn't that good. He often pushed too much forwards leaving a lot of space behind him and he often didn't bother to catch the opponent's winger. He also let many crosses go past him. Coentrão is getting old and starting to decrease so I want to replace him.

CDM: Nemanja Matic, 85 Ovr, 28 Years Old, 8.5/10
                                3 assists in 38 appearances

I have always loved Matic since buying him in FIFA 14 but this season wasn't his best one. He started off well but in the second half of the season he started being inconsistent. He felt sluggish and he was often out of position but he still is a very good player. Won't get replaced.

CM: Arturo Vidal, 87 Ovr, 30 Years Old, 8.5/10
2 goals and 6 assists in 43 appearances

The Chilean didn't have a great season if we look at the stats but they don't tell everything. Arturo Vidal controlled the midfield and he was everywhere. He came down to defend and a few minutes later he was at the edge of the box waiting for a pass. He is an important player for us and he won't get sold.

CM: Wayne Rooney (C), 88 Ovr, 31 Years Old, 8/10
10 goals and 7 assists in 52 appearances

The captain of the team and mister Man United himself hasn't been the best since he was moved to the centre of the pitch but he is still a solid, consistent and good player. Even at the age of 31 Rooney can decide games and he always plays well in the bigger games like in the Champions League final which he decided in ManU's favour. Won't get replaced.

RW: Raheem Sterling, 82 Ovr, 22 Years Old, 9/10
14 goals and 13 assists in 40 appearances

Our English youngster broke into the starting eleven straight away when we signed him and he showed why he deserved to be there. Sterling started the season well and even after his three-month injury he continued to perform really well. Sterling was very dangerous on the right wing thanks to his pace and dribbling. Won't get replaced.

ST: Karim Benzema, 88 Ovr, 29 Years Old, 9.5/10
46 goals and 9 assists in 53 appearances

I know, it's surprising that Benzema didn't get a ten but in some games he didn't do anything. Still, he was a superior striker and he scored almost in every game. He is fast, strong, good in the air and a clinical finisher which is a perfect combination for a striker. On top of everything he managed to score a double hattrick against QPR. Won't get replaced.

LW: Javier Hernandez, 84 Ovr, 29 Years Old, 7.5/10
16 goals and 10 assists in 53 appearances

Stat-wise Javier Hernandez had a good season but like in many cases stats don't tell everything. Chicharito was useless in some games and he missed a lot chances. It was a shame that he wasn't able to continue his amazing form from last season. Might get replaced.

                                Notable Substitutes

ST: Alexandre Lacazette, 82 Ovr, 26 Years Old, 8/10
10 goals and 6 assists in 26 appearances

Alexandre Lacazette was a player we signed in January after Paco Alcacer was playing poorly. Lacazette did everything I wanted him to do and he got some important goals in the games he played. Will stay on the bench as a super sub.

GK: Alphonse Areola, 73 Ovr, 24 Years Old, 7.5/10
19 clean sheets in 33 appearances

This young French keeper was brought in to be a back-up for Samir Handanovic but he ended up benching the Slovenian. Areola did an alright job in goal but his lack of experience and low overall were noticeable. A good second choice keeper who will continue to sit on the bench.

CAM: Angel Di Maria, 88 Ovr, 29 Years Old, 7/10
5 goals and 7 assists in 41 appearances

Our Argentinian winger/midfielder had a poor season and he lost his spot to Raheem Sterling. Di Maria didn't have a big impact on the games he played in and sometimes he disappeared from the matches. He's also getting older. Will get replaced.

CM: Jordan Henderson, 82 Ovr, 27 Years Old, 8/10
3 goals and 5 assists in 45 appearances

Henderson was an important substitute for us and he came on from the bench many, many times. He's a good midfielder but he doesn't shine often and he doesn't have that 'wow factor'. Won't get replaced.

CDM: James McCarthy, 81 Ovr, 26 Years Old, 7/10
1 goal and 2 assists in 30 appearances

Our Irish holding midfielder got a lot of playing chances this season but he wasn't good in any of them. McCarthy is slow, too attacking-minded and he's often out of position. I'm not happy with him at all. Will get sold if a good offer comes in.

I hope everyone who wanted to vote has voted because I'm ending the poll. Right now it's 5-4 in Manchester United's favour which means I'll stay with them for another season. I'm sorry if you voted for the other option and wanted me to return to Verona but don't worry, that will happen soon.

Thank you for reading this post! I hope you have enjoyed it! Any feedback or suggestions will be appreciated!
