I still found it odd though. I know it feels/looks like a lot, but I still feel like players in Spain are more expensive than they were in England. I have to keep in mind that in England I was only buying players from the Championship and under with the exception of Morgan who I bought from Stoke, and those from the Scottish league, while here in Spain I'm going for La Liga players. It could be the difference between FIFA 14 and 15 though not the leagues. After that transfer window I'm really hurting for cash now. I think I only have $60,000 transfer and $977 (no zeros) in wages. I wish there was an option to organize a car wash or something oh, and Rodriguez will be my last Mexican I promise! No more Mexicans! Haha I still want to scout youth in Mexico and the United States, but if I am going to bring in another foreign player I must either sell or trade the ones I already have. Don't want to make Guadalajara my Boca Juniors *cough Rabbit cough*
The same exact thing happened to me! My transfer budget went down 100-200K and my wage budget went down 5K I think. Of course then it jumped up huge after that for the third season so I'm hoping the same happens for you. I think getting my first Bundesliga prize money helped a lot with that.

having a hard time letting to of the players that have been with me since League 2 at Dagenham. Oluwafemi Ilesanmi has peaked at 73 OVR and is even starting to regress -1 in a couple of categories. Medy Elito has peaked at 70 for a while now but he's still a very effective player for me, so even though I could afford someone with better ratings I don't feel like I need to because he plays great for me.

I know exactly how you feel. Letting go of those players is brutal, especially when you don't need to like you said with Elito. I think that by the end of my Wimbledon career I only had 2 players from League 2 still in my starting eleven. What made it easier for me was that I would try to only replace them with a youth academy graduate, not with a purchased player. For example Cowie replaced Worner, Thompson replaced Gornell, Odhlambo replaced Midson, etc. The only one I couldn't do that with was Ryan Tafazolli since in my entire Wimbledon career I never found a good, natural CB in my academy. When I received an offer for Tafazolli from Aston Villa, it took me a few seconds before advancing. Clicking "accept offer" was painful :'(

This may seem odd but I'm thinking about doing a League 2 CM with Either Northampton Town or Accrington Stanley which would you guys prefer to see more because I'd have fun doing either one

I know I'm going to have that same situation sooner or later with Yoell van Nieff who is absolutely amazing for me. His potential is only like 72 so my team will eventually outgrow him, but he is one of my most consistent players and continues to play at a high level in the Bundesliga.

guess it would be easier if an offer came in for Elito, they were coming in a couple of seasons ago but he was way too hot and I had nobody on the roster to replace him with. The Reyna injury showed me I can live without one of the two speedy midfielders and I realize Elito becomes the candidate to be moved.

I'm probably going to try to use Ilesanmi to try to get Robertson or Robinson, but I'm not sure I'll look to move Elito.

                    SEASON 3
                    PS4

                    Match 28

                    Newcastle 2-1 Leicester
                    Ayoze 12
                    Nugent 40
                    Ayoze 85

                    Simmed.

Champions League Last 16 Leg 2

Newcastle 1-0 Real Madrid (2-2 agg. Newcastle win on away goals)
                    Bony 84
What a result! The Galacticos are out of the Champions League thanks to the Magpies. Ronaldo and Aguero seemed determined to score but Boateng and Yanga-M'Biwa had excellent games, not allowing Aguero any space. However, we couldn't score, Pepe and Ramos having a game just as good as our centre backs. We switched to a 3-5-2 formation, bringing off the injured Clyne for Ayoze Perez and it made a difference. Clichy, Boateng and M'Biwa in our 3 man defence had the pace and ability to make the defence just as firm as it was with 4 at the back, and the added pacey attacker helped us out up front. However, we still struggled to score until we won a corner. The ball came in and Barkley controlled it on the edge of the box. He used some skill to beat two defenders but his shot was saved. However Bony was able to fire in on the rebound to put us into the quarter finals.

                    FA Cup Quarter Final

                    Chelsea 2-2 Newcastle
                    Matic 26
                    Bony 57
                    Matic 82
                    Perez 85 (PEN)

Matic opened the scoring for Chelsea, heading into the top corner from a Willian cross. Bony equalised, beating his man before firing into the bottom corner. Matic thought he had won it after he headed in again but Perez took the game to a replay from the penalty spot after Cahill bought Delph down.

                    2018 World Cup Qualifiers

                    Denmark 1-1 England
                    Barkley 41
                    Eriksen 47

                    England 2-1 Scotland
                    Agbonlahor 40
                    Naismith 54
                    Sterling 79

                    Simmed.

                    Match 29

                    Newcastle 4-1 West Ham
                    Schurrle 12
                    Schurrle 25
                    Schurrle 62
                    Morrison 65
                    Yanga-M'Biwa 81

Schurrle opened the scoring in this match with a low curling effort and made it 2, firing in off the post after a ball over the top. He completed his hat trick in his best games since joining, beating 2 men before finding the bottom corner. Morrison pulled one back with a scorching effort but M'Biwa headed in from a corner to make sure of victory. It was my 100th win as manager of Newcastle.

Champions League Quarter Final Leg 1

                    Borussia Dortmund 1-0 Newcastle
                    Begovic 64 (OG)
A disappointing result in Germany where Begovic scored an own goal, knocking the ball into his own net from a corner. And to make things worse, the second leg is the day after the FA Cup replay.

                    League Table

                    1. Newcastle 67 (2 games in hand)
                    2. Liverpool 60
                    3. Manchester City 60
                    4. Manchester United 59
                    5. Everton 56
                    6. Chelsea 55 (1 game in hand)
                    -----
                    18. Crystal Palace 25 (1 game in hand)
                    19. Leicester 17
                    20. Reading 14

Indi: What a start to the Prem! Teams you should beat but you still had to beat them. I hope you can get some decent form and finish around mid table.

Jamie: What a win against Madrid! Bony again. Really unlucky with that Begovic OG against Dortmund and then to have the 2nd leg so close to the fa cup replay is sickening.

Tex: A solid month apart from that Koln game. Good to see you push up to 5th in the table and 2nd in your group.

Rabbit: A good month getting draws against good teams and winning the other games. Good to see you pushing up the table also.

Sportsfreak: That's cool with the Munich thing, as long as you are happy with it I'm happy. Good luck with either Northampton or Accrington!

Moose: I should be able to catch up on your recent episodes tomorrow!

If I missed anyone I'm sorry, kind of rushing!

Oh, you're struggling eh? Haha, joking, but hopefully the struggles then start against my West Ham squad, thanks for the shoutout by the way I see you're trying to be Moose's West Ham by proxy bringing in Delph and Sakho Great work though, great recaps and it looks like the transfers are paying dividends for you so far, though no opponents to really write home about yet.

Are the sliders you posted that you're using on Legendary correct? If not, then I definitely recommend the speed change to 50/52 (on WC) because it corrects for it to be too easy to sprint past defenders and catch opponents. I also recommend increasing your FT as well to at least equal the CPU so that it makes it a bit tougher for you offensively.

I agree with you and everyone else totally, I have the hardest time with the West Ham through and through players like Noble who will peak in the mid-70s but if I want to push to the Champions League he will have to become more of a squad player and it will be such a shame when I have to push him out of the lineup at some point.

Jamie: It's all to do now for you in the Champions League, but with the quality of the squad you have I think you can pull off the comeback over Dortmund. Not to mention with the league lead that you have, you can afford to rest all of your big guns for a game to make sure that they are ready for that huge tie.

Tex and Vrabbit: Read your updates and didn't comment on them at the time, but both of you doing a very nice job with St. Pauli and Alcorcon, respectively, in picking up results and moving higher and higher up the table.
