Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
Yep, life is comfortable to say the least, as long as I don't need to travel into the city. I would say like most games, W3 has its good and its bad, but the good far outweighs the bad. Immersion, difficulty and depth of characters/story/creatures/world makes up for a few small bugs and a slightly irritating inventory system. I say get it if you can.
Yeah, gay marriage is probably not the best thing to talk about here. Far more people are openly against homosexuality than racism, and they're quite aggressive about it at times. One thing I've done is started carrying a hunting knife with me when I leave the suburbs. Bought one of those holsters to wear around my shin/ankle and everything! I haven't felt like my life has been in danger, but why wait?
Oh, and damn shame about your match against Germany. I was really hoping to see you go through!
Well if you and Jamie are that into it I might give it a try later on. I've never played any previous Witcher games, to be honest I don't even remember hearing of any of them, but if I get an urge to get a new game it will be strongly considered. Batman is also on my list but the one that I will buy for sure, for sure for sure, is Star Wars Battlefront when it comes out in November. Can't wait!
Haha yeah I was just joking about that. Gay marriage is definitely a subject you want to avoid in Russia. Isn't homosexuality, not gay marriage but homosexuality in general, illegal in Russia?
Carrying a weapon is serious stuff man but if it's that bad you gotta do what you gotta do. Just be careful when you pull that out though. Once it's out it's out and depending on the other person's reaction there's no going back. Best of luck man hope nothing bad happens and the people on the bus/metro learn not to f*** with you anymore.
So, I lost interest in my Las Palmas career. However, I wanted to stay in Spain, and as a result, I will be switching over to Malaga.
Also, I finished my first season at Rubin. I'm going on vacation tomorrow, so the update probably won't be out until early next week.
Great choice! I'll be looking forward to your posts and also my own matches against Malaga. They've got a great squad I actually have one of your players at Osasuna right now Sergi Darder. We have a good relationship in my career I've sent some good midfielders over to Malaga.
Hey guys, thought I'd stop by and give you an update on what has happened since me stepping away from updating.
I've been accepted into a well known tech school in the Northeastern US. I'm going majoring to be a Computer Technician.
I will also be having a 2 part surgery on my Left Foot to repair a major injury that I suffered during Football in the fall as well as remove a big cluster of Verucas on the bottom of my foot.
I have found the love of my life, but not in the way you may expect. We met playing Elder Scrolls Online(I knew her before this but this is where it took off). She lives in Virginia while I live in Wisconsin but We both go to college in the same vicinity so we plan on splitting rent on an apartment for when we're at school.
I am going to be starting a youtube channel here in about a month. I will be playing games varying from Fifa 16 to Destiny.
I hope to hear more from you guys in the near future
That's great to hear man congrats on being accepted to the tech school! Good luck with surgery too I hope you can make a speedy recovery. Do you plan on playing again?
As for your love interest that's some good stuff man. College is gonna be fun!
You're on xBox right? If you were on PS4 I'd be down to play Destiny with you. Best of luck man hope you still pop in here from time to time with an update!

Speaking of prequels (and/or sequels) why do they usually get so much hate? Is it nostalgia or maybe pre-release hype? Some sequel movies aren't bad at all but only a few movie series where the sequels didn't get hated come to my mind: Star Wars (original trilogy), Indiana Jones (apart from the one that doesn't exist), Mission Impossible and LotR. Then we have the other category that has SW prequels, Jurassic Park 2&3, the Godfather 3 and the Hobbit trilogy just to mention a few. Some of them aren't bad movies. For example I found the new Jurassic World amazing but it's getting a solid amount of bashing online. I can't say that it's better than Jurassic Park because they are different movies. I'd love to hear your guys' opinions!-Simppu12-

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
Now that you mentioned Battlefront and SW I must ask you a thing. I myself probably won't be getting BF3, though. Anyway, the prequels (yes, I am talking about those prequels) get a lot of hate and I would just like to hear your opinion on them. I think that Phantom Menace isn't that terrible and it's an alright movie. The next one is pretty bad but RotS isn't bad, too, if you ask me.

I actually liked the SW prequels. I'm not on that hate wagon. I remember the first time I saw Ewan McGregor's Obi-Wan in The Phantom Menace I was awe struck and just thought "Oh my God! That's Obi-Wan!!" Since the only Obi-Wan I knew at the time was Alec Guinness. Attack of The Clones was good, but Christensen's acting did make me cringe a bit at times especially when I showed the movies to my girlfriend trying to make her a Star Wars fan (which was a huge success btw). From all the actors Christensen was probably the least experienced, along with Portman, and they both got better in the following movie. Which brings me to Revenge of The Sith. Now this movie I can watch over and over again. I have to admit, with much pride, that the final scene with Anakin battling Obi-Wan is among the few movie scenes that have brought tears to my eyes. Yes, I'm serious. When Padme is trying to talk to Anakin on Mustafar and convince him to run away with her, and then he sees Obi-Wan coming out of her ship. He force chokes her, let's her go, looks back at Obi-Wan and says "you turned her against me!" Listen to Christensen's voice in that line. Full of hate and anger, his best friend's and wife's betrayal raging inside of him, but on the verge of tears. That's Darth Vader. Christensen got it spot on right there. In the original trilogy, Vader is seen as powerful, evil, merciless, but in the end we learn that deep inside he is very troubled. The prequels show us exactly why, as he's been heartbroken pretty much his entire life. Having to leave his mother, then lose her. Losing Qui-Gon. His personal struggle to save Padme from meeting the same fate as his mother. Not knowing that the vision of her death in his dreams would be caused by him, and in that struggle to save her losing his best friend as well. The friend that's been by his side since he was a child; his brother. Having to do anything the Emperor asked him to, like killing all the Padawans; another scene in which we see Anakin's pain, desperate to save Padme. And not to mention the emperor makes it even worse by telling him he killed Padme, which was true but not entirely. Lets go back to that final scene on Mustafar, when the most bad***, amazing light saber battle that we have ever come to see on film ends and Vader is trying to climb away from the lava. Obi-Wan talks to Darth Vader, his pain also evident in his voice as he tells him that none of this was supposed to happen. Vader responds, "I hate you!" And despite hearing those three words that only heightened his pain, Obi-Wan replies with, "You were my brother, Anakin. I loved you." There, when the camera goes back to Christensen, we don't see Vader anymore. We see Anakin. A final glimpse of Anakin Skywalker that would never show himself again until the end of Return of The Jedi. We only get to see it for a second before his clothes catch fire. That entire Mustafar scene, make me tear up. I mean, take away the lightsabers, the space battles, the blasters, take all that away and you have an amazing story of a man truly blinded by love. So blinded, that it causes him to lose everything and live the rest of his life in despair until finally being reunited with his son. As you can see, I liked both the prequels and the originals. I loved how the final ending comes together. Obi-Wan tells Anakin that he was the chosen one, the one to bring balance to the force, and in the end of Return we see that Anakin was indeed the chosen one. He took longer than they all expected, but in the end he did bring balance to the force. He just needed his son, a reminder of Padme, to straighten him out again.
I think that all prequels get so much hate because people had imagined something different. For example something like they weren't expecting Darth Vader, the Villain of Villains, to have lost everything and became Vader because of a girl. It wasn't what I was expecting either, but I didn't take it personal. People say that Hayden Christensen's acting ruined the SW prequels. His lack of experience was really noticeable especially in Episode II, but what do you have to say about Mark Hamill's acting in Episode IV? Hamill was also very inexperienced compared to the rest of the cast and he also showed significant improvement in his acting throughout the original trilogy. I've also read people say that the prequels were so bad that they nearly ruined the actor's careers. McGregor, Neeson, Portman, and Jackson for example continued to have huge success in their acting careers after the prequels. Tell me, how about the actors from the original trilogy? Apart from Ford, none of them had much success in acting anymore. Hamill makes a fantastic, amazing Joker in Batman and Fisher has her writing, but their acting careers were pretty much killed by Star Wars. Then there is also the argument that the prequels have childish creatures like the Gungans and more specifically, Jar Jar. To those people I reply, how about them Ewoks? Were those cute, cuddly little bears not childish? Re watch that entire scene in Return of The Jedi and tell me they weren't. And tell me you weren't sad when you saw one of them trying to wake his fallen comrade up during battle! One of the saddest moments in movie history as the little Ewok realizes his friend is dead! Tell me you weren't heartbroken!
Okay, rant over. I'll have to stop here because i wasn't expecting this post to be so long. I could go on for days. I hope I got my point across!

Capital One Cup - We rolled on in the cup, although we almost blew an early lead against Sheffield United. Allowing goals like that come back to haunt us if we don't tighten up in the back. Makasi will likely continue as our keeper for the competition despite that, but Cropper is of course our #1 so there's only so much slack to work with.
Europa League Opener - We played in our Europa League opener and earned a point from our efforts. This level of talent is certainly a step up from what we are used to, and we got lucky to earn that point. A late penalty was what equalized for us. AS Monaco is next, so that should certainly be even harder. We will make sure we are prepared though and give it everything we have.
League Play - We have opened a 5 point lead in the table, but our fixture schedule is become hectic with all of the competitions we are in currently. We will have to reach deep down into our roster to keep our players rested or else we will be in danger of beginning to drop more points.

I'l end this post with a small look at some amazing scenes from the prequels. In the Phantom Menace when Qui-Gon is melting the blast door in the beginning is pretty intense and cool. The fish monsters were interesting, the podracing was okay and my God the lightsaber battle! In RotS the scene where the jedis are getting killed always brings a tear up in my eyes. Like you said the Mustafar sequence is also awesome as we get some good Obi-Wan lines where he tries to bring Anakin back to the good side, Padme getting choked earlier and then the whole battle. The "you were meant to destroy the Sith etc" from Obi-Wan is also a very good part.
Btw, have you ever thought about this: in the prequels there isn't a big Sith threat and the Force is unbalanced in the favour of the good. What if Anakin brought balance to it by becoming Darth Vader and technically destroying the Jedi in Order 66? Ooh, creepy.-Simppu12-

The first transfer window has been turned off. There will be no purchases in January. Premier League squad rules apply with a maximum squad size of 25 and at least 8 homegrown players i.e. someone who irrespective of nationality has spent three seasons registered to an English or Welsh club prior to the year he turns 21. I will try to have a good number of English players but won't restrict myself as nationality shouldn't matter when building a team.Last edited by indiblue; 07-02-2015, 04:31 AM.Comment

Im still undecided as to which console Im getting. I havent had a Sony Console since I jumped from PS2 to Xbox 360. From what I've been told the Xbox One is not all that great. But most of the people I associate with On Xbox either already have an Xbox One or are planning to get one here in the near future. If I can switch over and still have my DLC that I bought already then I may go PS4 because from what I've been told the PS4 is much smoother playing than the Xbox One. If I do get a PS4 you'll be first to know because I have no idea on how the hell to set up an account or anything of the sort lol.Currently Playing:

Re: How's Your FIFA Career Mode Going?
I would have expected you to beat West Brom and QPR but you did great to get a point out of Man. Utd. I would like to point out something wrong in your squad rules. The rules state a maximum of 17 non home-grown players. For example Chelsea had a squad of 20 with just 3 home grown players.
And yeah, I was still adjusting to the 20 pass speed sliders in career mode at that time. October results are much better! I was still plenty pleased to nick a point off United, though oddly enough that's the one I felt I should have won!Comment
