Sounds like something unusual Klopp would do.

The top three is very tight but you have a huge lead over Leyton in fourth so you are well on your way towards automatic promotion.
I was ecstatic with that result! We were lucky with the own goal but we also had some other chances that we didn't take. We definitely clicked in attack in January and that should help us coming into the tail end of the season. The title is what I'm aiming for now, seeing as automatic promotion is pretty much assured.

Relative to my squad, Bennett and Santos have decent potentials for what I got them for. With training they should do until the Championship when hopefully I'll have some more cash to spend.

        - Azpilicueta sounds like the perfect fit for your back. Very nice lineup you have put together.

What are others in the league doing? (Messi, Ronaldo)

Also, great job with Bulgaria! I can't imagine they have too many playmakers on their squad.

Hello everyone! I have been reading through the posts on here for a bit now and wow this seems like a great community. FIFA 16 - Season 2

            The Blades

            November 2016

            Sheffield United 3 - 1 Charlton Athletic
            SHU - Cameron 38', Townsend 64', Sharp 90' (PEN)
            CHA - Vetokele

Match Summary: Cameron attacked the left side of the box and just as the defender slid to stop his shot he pulled it back and cut inside for the free shot into the top right corner. Vetokele pulled it back to even after he took the ball from Nugent and went through for the easy 1 on 1 finish. Townsend then got the ball outside of the box and beat his man to get around the left side of the goal and fire it back across to the top right. Sharp got the through ball and held the defender off as he took it towards the goal until he was taken out with a poor challenge. He converted the penalty easily to put the game out of reach.

            Bolton 0 - 1 Sheffield United
            SHU - Baxter 11'
            MOTM: Freeman

Match Summary: Freeman played the ball to Baxter outside of the box and he continued his run into the box and got the the left side of the goal before firing a strong shot past the keeper's reach and inside the near post for the only goal of the match.

            Sheffield United 0 - 0 Watford FC
            MOTM: Gomes

Match Summary: Neither team showed anything special and a boring match came to an end with the result telling the story. Sheffield won the possession battle by a close margin of 51/49 and each side recorded just 1 shot on goal. Performances like this won't see either team get too far if this becomes the norm.

            MK Dons 2 - 3 Sheffield United
            MKD - Long 24' (OG), Randall 45'
            SHU - Baxter 26', 53', 78' (PEN)
            MOTM: Baxter

Match Summary: Reeves fed the ball to Church and his first shot was kept out but he raced to the ball and hit it a second time that was once again deflected by the keeper but it was able to keep its momentum and carry on into the goal. The referee made an odd decision to award it as an own goal by the keeper. Baxter responded almost immediately when Pearson found him in a gap in the defense on the left side and he hit it first time to the top right corner. Just before half Itabel send a cross in and the keeper came out to punch it away. Randall saw it coming down and hit a spectacular volley low into the bottom right corner. Baxter went on the attack again and earned a foul just outside of the box, taking his time to line it up and then curl it over the wall into the top left. Cameron worked his way into the box from the left wing and used his footwork to make the defense lunge and take him out in the box. Baxter stepped up and fired it into the top left to complete his hat trick.

            Sheffield United 1 - 2 Bournemouth FC
            SHU - Sharp 37' (PEN)
            BOU - Arter 55', 58'
            MOTM: Arter

Match Summary: After a poor challenge, Sharp stepped to the spot and put the ball into the top right over the keeper who had guessed right but couldn't quite reach it. Mason played the ball square across the top of the box for Arter running towards it and he hit it first time into the top right corner for a stunning goal. Ritchie used some quick touches to get past his defender and the sent the ball towards the middle for Arter running in to quickly direct it into the bottom right for the deciding goal.

The rules? Well, really the only one we have is to make sure you enjoy you're own career and that is the best way to make all of us enjoy it more! Honestly we love it all, games, standings, youth, transfers, tactics. Looking forward to your Tottenham updates!

Welcome to the thread! Hopefully you'll enjoy it! As Tex said, no rules just post what makes it enjoyable for you. One of the best things about this thread is the variety of everyone's posts and careers. Indi with his incredible storylines, Cruzerr with his screenshots, Rabbit and his great youth academies, Simp and his logos, Moose and Aqua with their videos, Hedges with his game by game approach, Tex with his league table, Cabee with his continuity and Yanks with his gifs. As you can see everyone has something different! (I don't think I forgot someone but if I did forgive me because it's early!)

Spurs should be a good career, they have alot of young talent but some established stars as well. Looking forward to it!

Welcome to the thread! It's great to see that you have come across the Holy Grail of FIFA career mode in the form of this amazing place! I hope you enjoy your hopefully long stay here!

As far as rules go, and this will sound very cliché, the most important, and pretty much the only rule is to have fun and enjoy your time here! Whatever you do, just enjoy it. If you don't like a career you've started, don't worry about dropping it. All of us have done that at some point. Also, feel free to start or join any discussions about anything. We like to discuss things like Star Wars, our lives, puppies, football and pretty much anything else here.

As Tex said, we like a bit of everything in the updates. Some details, images, recaps at the end, tactics, transfers, everything. You are the one who decides what to include and how to include.

To answer your question about what the others are doing in my career, Messi isn't doing anything special while Ronaldo is leading the scoring charts with 20 goals. Our striker Villalibre is second with 15, while Aduriz is fourth with 13. I can't remember who is in third. Assist-wise Luka Modric is leading with nine while Markel Susaeta, Ager Aketxe and Iñaki Williams are all on eight if I'm not mistaken. Overall, our players are dominating the domestic charts.

Thanks, it hasn't been easy with Bulgaria. Funnily enough, the playmakers are the strongest area of the squad with our captain Ivelin Popov (78ovr), Georgi Milanov (75ovr) and Ivaylo Chochev (72ovr) having good passing abilities. The starting striker is also under control with the legend Dimitar Berbatov starting. I'm just worried about his retirement.

Finally, I'm looking forward to your career with Spurs! They have a very interesting squad with a lot of young talent in it.

No no no, you are the one with the logos :P It is true that this thread is full of variety, though, and that is just one more reason making it more enjoyable.

Mane scores his first goal as a Toffee.

First goal of the season - comes from Coleman.

Solanke also scored in his first game.

Lukaku didn't only stop with one.

                          THE LEAGUE

                          My thoughts

Pretty good start - Pretty good? Man, who am I telling bull to, it is amazing. Haven't conceded (in the league), scored a ton of goals, everything seems to clicking. The Leg 1 game of the qualifiers did actually scare me for a second, but at home, they were no match to us. Which reminds me...

Champions League! - Yes, in two seasons we have made it to Champions League football, quite an achievement. I mean, I have no idea, how our group actually will be. (Actually, I do, but I don't want to spoil it just yet!). But, if we can make somewhat of a push, I feel confident.

Our transfers - There is quite a bit to talk about, so lets start from the less obvious and move on to the obvious.

                          Our own departures:

                          Oumar Niasse - to Hoffenheim - £10.000.000
Funes Mori - to Aston Villa - £2.800.000
                          Matthew Pennington - to Bolton - £800.000

As for loans, Holgate, Hird and Dowell have gone out for loans.

                          About our own transfers:

THEY HAVE ALL BEEN A SUCCESS. Solanke has already scored, Mane aswell, Carvalho has been impactful and strong in the midfield, being a big part of our good record, and Okore has impressed me so far. I can't be mad at anything, but the hard games are coming up.

Our YA players, Pym and Byrne, have gotten to play, but they are quite young, so they will be slowly given action, but obviously, 16 year olds aren't ready to play big minutes.

Transfers around the league - Well, some of the big ones.

Toni Kroos - From Real Madrid to Manchester City - £50.500.000
Alan Halinovic - From Barcelona to Juventus - £39.500.000
Hugo Lloris - From AC Milan to Manchester United - £39.000.000
Harry Kane - From Tottenham Hotspurs to Bayern - £34.000.000
Stefan de Vrij - From Lazio to Newcastle United - £23.000.000
Salomon Rondon - From West Brom to Norwich - £19.500.000
Sebastian Haller - From Utreicht to Crystal Palace - £19.000.000
Vincent Janssen - From AZ to Southampton - £16.500.000
Dimitri Payet - From West Ham to Atletico Madrid - £16.000.000 (This happens, when you don't play him, Moose!)
Islam Slimani - From Sporting to Swansea - £15.500.000

Next post, but a BIG question! - Next post is going to be about our CL groups (just a quick recap!), but my question is:

I have gotten accustomed to posting 2 months at a time, yet those 2 months will have 14 games (including INT games!), so would you like me to split it up in 2, or post it as 1?

That is it for now, I hope you enjoyed it, take care and any feedback is helpful!

Really, Season 2, Cruzerr? Is this a prank?
                            Season 2

Okay Cruzerr, serious question. Where the heck is the keeper in this picture?

Edit: NVM found him! He's the guy curled in the fetal position possibly sucking his thumb and asking for his mommy. Couldn't see his shorts so I thought that was one of your players injured at first. My bad!

                              Great start indeed mate.

With regard to your question--with that many games, my vote is to break it up to avoid the post being...overwhelming, lol.
