It is totally a new game and you can't approach it from the standpoint of the previous FIFA's. Glad to see you have your own set to guide people (I do the same) because people don't want to have to work at adjusting a set, they want to play it as is.

These are designed for 10-15 min halves as I want to try and slow down the game as much as possible and to create some unpredictability with the passing, shooting and touches, cause I think we all try to get it to play like fifa and that every attack should end up with a chance on goal and in real life that doesn’t always happen so thats the goal here really more errors more Possession turnovers etc. Kudos to matt10 for the HLW and marking values!

Hey Aaron, I’m curious if you’re also having the issue of your back line not tackling and not staying in front of attackers? AI teammate CBs just back up and move out of the way of attackers. If I manually control the contain/jockey feels sluggish. Really struggling with the CB play this year.

Yeah I’m having that issue at times, think it’s down to how EA have coded the defending this year, what I do is if the AI are going through the middle switch to a CB and stay on him till the attack is over or has switched out wide then control a fullback

What's the benefit of setting the ai midfield to cover centre.

Also could you give me some tips on manual finishing, what you tend to do. And how you look to create chances as well

Well I look at it like this, if your playing a team with LW RW and LB RB they are covering the wings right? So there’s no point having your CM covering the wings to as who’s covering the centre of the pitch? And it adds more congestion to the middle of the pitch aswell, I change the CM in each game plan with 2nd controller before the game, as for manual shooting mainly practice, but don’t hold the direction you want to shoot down to long, what I do is power up the shoot then just before about to kick I pick my direction it’s very rewarding when you score compared to assisted controls

Hey Aaron! Loved your slider set on 19. Still, I haven't got 20 yet but will definitely grab it sometime in November. I just want your feedback on the gameplay. I'm hearing the gameplay is solid this year (especially defending). I can play with the default gameplay and everything when I'm playing Pro Clubs but just cannot play CM with that because it feels so arcade-ish.

So far, what are your thoughts on gameplay and career mode? Are there finally fouls happening?

PS: Can't wait to try your set once I grab my copy

Yes bud for me I think it’s one of the best FIFA’s in awhile everything is good still get the Odd bad defence moments like CB letting players past but very rare but you can control them now as the switching is vastly improved!! Career mode is good now after the last patch there’s still things they need to patch which they have said they are going to do so it’s all good atm But I’m having so much fun with COD MW atm!! What a game
