Same, really enjoying it in the Bundesliga, but honestly everywhere else is great. I've recently gone back to the PC with its modding capabilities for the graphics and yeah - cannot wait to get started. Already did some recording for the return of manager Matt Tehn for the youtube series.

I really loved FIFA 23, and I didn't expect to enjoy FC24 as much as I have, but the subtle things that they have improved in the gameplay is absolutely incredible. Defenders joining into the attack past the halfway line, more crosses on Legendary, more passing variety from the back and better build up from the back with defenders passing amongst themselves or back to the keeper. If anyone can't appreciate those things and call FC24 trash, they really don't know what they're talking about or they're living in a false reality where any FIFA other than FIFA 16 has ever accomplished those gameplay features.

So, the last update is ok ? No need to change anything ?

Yes Seria A is a fun time as well . I have a Roma CM that I did for about 11 games , but decided to scrap it and will start a Cagliari CM later . In Seria A most teams sit deeper , they don't use constant press , giving u more time on the ball and more chances for better buildups . Once u get into the final third is when they get to shutting u down . Seria A for the most part plays exactly like it does in IRL , it's great as well . But this is exactly why I really wanna save/invest for a PC , cus simply not have Romas n Lazios kits/crest n even real names has just ruined my fun n immersion with using Roma or Lazio .. Mods on PC take this game to another level . If I had PC I don't think I would ever leave the house again lol

We'll have an update soon, but it's not aimed to fix anything as the game is playing brilliantly. It's just to normalize the sprint values and tighten the gap in some spots, then we're revisiting some values along with adding the FB positioning. Should be sometime today.

Can’t wait for this! I put fb positioning up to 82 and have been loving it

uh is anyone else having trouble with the CPU doing precisely everything possible (and executing it perfectly like they knew ahead of time, every time) to get a foul when you try to tackle them? it's either that or I give them space and they just do 0 momentum to full speed KNOCK-ONs past me. my god the knock-ons are absolutely preposterous (like CBs doing them) and equally rage-inducing.

roughly as rage-inducing as me timing a challenge perfectly and getting ready to start a counter when the CPU ball carrier is like "oh wait no I'm going to pass it backwards and to the left while still moving forward, it seems as though you've fouled me now, bad luck that"

this is World Class, Slow and I'm about to throw in the towel for this year

Man what a wild game this was . A total of 8 yellow cards ( although I got 6 of em )
6 of my starting 11 players had the yellows , never seen such a result before. 14 free kicks , just a great game yet again. Loving this so much 20231208_122423_HDR.jpg

So, I booted up the game today and decided to try Legendary. But before doing so, I wanted to try the Attributes setting (+ WC Slow as per usual) and see what happened. I've made a quick search about it and ended up setting to Classic (was on Default) because (according to some reddit threads) Default made the players better, whereas Classic makes them more similar to real life.
[Btw, sorry if that was mentioned before. I'm relatively new to the recent FIFA games and I've never seen anything about that .]

Played one or two Kickoff matches with MLS teams and oh man, glad I didn't switch to Legendary because World Class became challenging again and out of nowhere. I've noticed that the CPU marks more and it's harder to just run past it now. Although the inhuman runs are still there, but it's playable.

I don't know if it's something related to the servers or what, but I went from games with +4-5 goals to winning/losing by only 1 or 2. The game doesn't feel fast/accelerated as before, as if the Slow Pace setting wasn't even working.
Yesterday I started a CM with Inter Miami and played a game that I won 4-1 with ease, as if the CPU did not want to try. Now I'm currently playing against Philadelphia and I'm struggling to score. It's 1-1 at 52:00 and I just scored a freekick with Messi. Will send a screenshot of the stats after the game ends.

Welp, looks like it still becomes easier at some point of the match because I ended up winning 4-1 with some Kickoff goals too. Will play a couple more games and then try Legendary.

PS: 8 minute halves + all Semi and not using R1 dribbling at all.

My stats after 70 matches on WC, slow, 10 min halves (pretty much all matches as Real Madrid)

These are my overall stats since release, not just on V7 btw

2,8 goals scored
0,8 goals received

Gotta say I'm fine with this. Against weaker teams I usually win without too much effort but against the top ones like Barca, Atletico or good ones in the CL I sometimes struggle a bit. Have to say the game plays as good as ever with V7 after the last update. Really happy with the immersion and realism.

Are most of you all using a custom tactic and building on it with coaches in your career modes (say gegenpressing, etc), going with a balanced approach, or mixing it up each game based on the competition? It seems like "wing play" approach is the least restrictive, where I can play a deeper line against good competition and a higher line against teams I want to go at (in addition to changing instructions for players) - without going against the set ideals of this approach vs. say gegenpressing or Tiki-Taka that are pretty difficult to change how I play against different competition. But curious what most folks are doing?

Huh. I got on a real roller coaster. I won 1-0 against Bochum, then Leipzig ran over me. We managed to get 0 shots on goal against them. The end was 5-0. I'm with Stuttgart. That's how the season started. I'd rather not write anything about the summer tournament. 😆 There are plenty of challenges, I need to sort out the lines, I'm still looking for tactics, but the game has been great so far. Legendary level, 9 minutes. Semi control, shot manual.

I think someone mentioned the custom tactics and said it was a good idea because it balances your players and kinda nerfs the attributes of each player in the team.
I've started a CM with Inter Miami and decided to go with the Standard playstyle + 2 expert coaches (instead of maxing it out) for all positions except for goalkeepers. Playing custom makes the coaches lower their level to accomplished or novice depending on their stats.

for those who play longer than 8 min halves, how are your fitness levels by the end of the game? and have any of you checked the cpu fitness by the end of the game?

i play legendary slow 8 min halves, and i want to use longer halves, but all my players by the end of the game are usually near the 50 fitness and below level mark. if we had 5 subs that wud really help but i believe fifa only gives you chance for 3.
