Personally, I would have to disagree with you there. For me this is the least enjoyable of all versions I've played since 98 and Youtube is littered with complaints about it. I also haven't seen many people complaining about the sliders, I do see some venting some frustration and wanting to share their experiences with others about the game in general even if this isn't the right place to do it. I can understand that and I accept it for what it is as you don't really get any help from EA forums. Personally I have no problem with the sliders, just the game itself as for me it all starts well then as the first season progresses it gets worse until I cannot play it anymore and I play more than a couple of games on kick off. I play well into the season but, as I said it just gets progressively worse, I come back to this forum to look for some hope regularly but, this year is a no hoper for me and I like many others feel as though they've wasted their money. Each to their own though, if you are enjoying it then I'm genuinely pleased for you. Personally I'm playing FIFA23.

Look of course each their own but for me FIFA 21 literally had players standing like trees or cone absolutely not moving not getting any form of involved whit the defending FIFA 21 whas the first time i stop and went to play PES ,again absolutely not saying this version is perfect so many things I’d like to be better but I’m not getting no crazy hope until EA change the engine totally ,25 will be pretty much the same whit minor tweaks so i rather just stick trough it then just be like ohhh that game is unplayable let me wait until next edition and pretty much the same happen a year from now

So...the restart match thing has since worked a few more times within career mode. I don't know if there's a bug related to fully loading slider settings within games but they've all played like actual matches post restart.

Hi, has anyone looked into AI v AI sliders? They introduced a ‘Tactical View’ for career mode this year where you can kind of emulate FM style gameplay to some extent. Must admit I’ve found it very hard this year to get a robust useable set for this purpose.

I skimmed the thread here and there but didn't see much mention of this but what settings should be used for "Attributes"(Default or Classic) and "Defending"(Tactical vs Advanced vs Legacy) or doesn't it matter?

Attributes always set to Classic. I'm no expert on the topic but I've heard that Default boosts the players stats and they could be pretty OP sometimes.
As for defending, I think Advanced should be the go-to option. It allows you to press with your AI teammates and/or mark the opponents while getting the ball. I'd say it's a mix of tactical and legacy.

I don't think it matters whether you use Default or Classic. If you put a player on a different position then it's gonna decrease his overall rating/stats by -1 or more.

Occasionally it happens to me. Restarting the match after playing in it seems to fix it. It's as if the sliders don't load sometimes.

Have recently tried fast paced with matts sliders although I have changed acceleration and sprint speed to 55 for both cpu and user and have been throughly enjoying it. It doesn’t feel too fast and Lots of crosses and long balls from the Cpu and plenty of fouls also. The only thing I’m getting is injuries for both seem To have disappeared even though they are on matts sliders. Other than that I’m enjoying it.

Something seriously wrong with the goalkeepers I'm noticing recently, anyone else? They might as well not be on the pitch, diving of the way of shots, weird arm positions etc.?
