Since the new Title Update #4, the game crashes on PS5 and even Xbox Series X|S when loading a Career Mode save or making a new Career Mode save.

EA really could not give less of a **** about their consumers.

Just seen about this on Twitter, it’s shocking. I’m on XSX but haven’t had any option to do the update? (Probably for the best by the sound of it!)

Well, the brightness bug wasn't fixed. Other than that I didn't notice anything after 3 matches.

Those that play FUMA: do you keep the pass/shot error values the same as the base set, or do you alter them at all? And what power bar value do you use?

I’m currently trying to learn FUMA again, using the default V4 error values for World Class, and 55 power bar. I’ve flirted with using FUMA controls in the past but I always end up going back to semi as I just can’t crack how to do accurate short, sharp manual passes. My manual shooting is pretty good so I’m inclined to keep the default error value there. But my manual pass accuracy is pretty poor, roughly around 70% and I give the ball away a lot in the midfield trying to pass through the CPU (even when I’m playing patiently).

Having said that, I just played one of the most enjoyable games I’ve had in a long time with FUMA controls. I think FUMA + WC is definitely better/more enjoyable than using semi on Legendary.

This is why I have always used all manual except for regular ground passing. Although I have to say the semi through ball is much better tuned this year. Trying through balls with poor passers is very difficult.

Last version of sliders still playing great after the update. Played couple games no issues.

I feel like the legendary level is more playable after today's update. Maybe I'm just talking to myself, but it seems like they fit less precisely and don't have as much punch. All my sliders are at their base value of 50, I just increased the damage to 65/35
Yesterday I lost 4 out of 5 games on legendary difficulty, today I won 4 out of 4 so far. I'm not complaining, because I played enjoyable and good games, I'm just curious, has anyone else experienced something similar

I don’t experiment with the HLW sliders and just defer to Matt’s values but I agree that something feels a bit off. The passing lanes don’t feel like a proper football game right now. Even on Legendary, it’s too easy to exploit space on the wings for through balls, even if you give the CPU a Sprint Speed and/or Acceleration advantage. On 5/5 Sprint Speed it was really bad because of CB jockey. At least on 50/50 and 51/51 Sprint Speed, the CPU centre-halves try to recover if your winger is clear of the CPU full-back.

The game just feels easy to exploit. Even on Legendary, all you have to do is wait for your winger or full-back to overlap, press triangle/Y for a through-ball and you’ll be able to create a chance. There’s little progression through the middle. Both the User and CPU are encouraged to exploit space on the wings for chances. Idk, something just feels really off right now and I can’t seem to put my finger on it. Higher Sprint Speed on Slow helps but the game just feels boring, repetitive and easy right now.

As ironic as this sounds, winning 8-0, 7-1 and 6-0 on Legendary just isn't enjoyable or rewarding.

I don't think I've asked before, but why is Width at 49/49 instead of 50/50? I'm not saying it's wrong or that's the reason why I feel the game is off. I'm just curious. Is it to make the middle of the pitch more congested?

I agree, said a few days ago that the wings are a exploit at this point. And CPU definitely loves using the wings as a main form of attack . They love to go wide , try to dribble into the penalty box n then the famous cut back cheesy goal they look for .

Apparently if you change your in game language to English in settings & then start a new career mode or load a previous one it works.

No idea how you could get a big to do that to be honest but it’s EA & they like to surprise.

I just can’t be bothered anymore with this game tbh. I try not to be complain and instead find solutions but I’m at a loss. I thought 50/50 was better as it eliminated the CB jockey but you can still breeze past players. Anything above 50/50 feels too hectic. I don’t know what’s wrong with the game or the sliders but this is the least enjoyable experience playing a FIFA/FC game in years, even with sliders. FIFA 23 was actually enjoyable with the final OS slider set.

I just played as Crystal Place (me) vs Spurs on Legendary Slow using the Harder Legendary set. I kept resetting it as I tried different Sprint Speed values. On 50/50 I was winning 4-1 as Palace by the 60th minute and Will Hughes scored a hat-trick lmfao. Joel Ward sprinted past Udogie like he wasn’t even there. This game is just trash atm.

Are you playing FUMA? Can you upload a video of 50/50 Sprint where you are breezing past players?

It’s refreshing to see someone that has an issue with the game and is actively testing different slider values to try and do something about it. Have you tried using a Sprint/Acceleration discrepancy? Maybe 49/51 Acc and 40/51 Sprint? I know some people don’t like using discrepancies but if the game is unplayable for you it might be your last resort.

When playing World Class, which difficulty mode is better, Legendary or Ultimate? I've always played Ultimate but on EAFC24 I have the impression that the game responds better on Legendary, what do you think?
