    EAFC 25 Community Tactics

    Played about with these sliders for a bit & I think we are getting somewhere as a community.

    As Brewcrew16 said 52/53 is really good for tackle aggression, I’m using 53 & seeing some mistimed ones & fouls as well. Anything above 53 though & they just jump in stupidly with slide tackles that aren’t realistic at all.

    As for shooting Papernut has hit the nail with 59, you get mixture of long, mid & close range shooting from the cpu.

    Now for crosses, I’m on 75. Now I have seen this all depends on actual team tactics. Eg: played against Wolves, they used wings a lot but kept playing it inside. However Werder Bremen women’s team played more crosses in. So I do believe they are linked.

    For dribbling & first touch I’m on 30. This seems to balance passing dribbling etc out nicely. I have found if you put first touch up to high everyone plays like prime Barcelona from iniesta, xavi days.

    The only one I’m really not sure on is build up speed, I’m still on 50, however I’m hoping someone has tested this more & can shed some light.

    These are also teamed up with Matt’s & co’s community sliders.

      Still rocking Dynamic Sliders for now. Just don't want to flatten the curve at all for variance and over the course of the season it gives me the most to think about from a game to game basis (I am purposely not looking at the sliders pre game in my real CM so that I have to react to what the CPU is doing to know how to counter it)

      Was finding the CPU attack too passive but that disappeared once I went to Legendary instead of WC.

        You and I have basically settled on the same ai sliders. I have also made some tweaks to Matt's sliders. Increased FT to 70, pass error and shot error up 5 clicks for CPU. GK ability to 49. User accell to 50. I'm still looking at run frequency and the CPU build up slider. I already lowered that to 40.

          Add me three. I tested 50-60 and also found around 53-54 as that cut off for stupid stuff for the Tackle Agg. I was at 75 for crossing also. The three I have only tested on the extreme end was the dribble, first touch, and build up sliders. I will try to get some runs in this week and watch for your guys feedback on these, but one thing is for sure, these can be used to get the AI offense in gear in different ways, so we can tailor things well.

          The main issue I am seeing on this game now is the brain dead CB play around the box. Pretty sure this was past issue and forgot how you all solved it then. Forwards just play a knock on or a quick sprint from a stop around the CBs as they just cannot react fast enough and they are in with ease.

            I solved it

            Test this out

            CPUvsCPU I had barca vs Chelsea - reason because I feel like Barca tactics gets affected negatively the most because of their tactics , it mess with slider too much n they don’t attack well anymore

            6min WC
            Player difficulty - on = brings good dribbles to wingers

            speed 38/38
            Acc 45/45
            Shot error 55/55
            Pass error 40/40 - so team like Barca can tiki still w the low speed
            Shot speed 55/55- realistic shots w good deflections
            Pass speed 48/38
            Injury - I haven’t messed around
            Goalkeeper - 65/65
            Marking -50/50- u want bad defenders to be out of position also
            Run freq- 50/50- Ai behavior overrides it
            Height - 50/50 - so tactics matters
            Length 30/30 - compactness
            Width 35/35 - compactness like modern football
            Fullback - 50/50 - haven’t tested
            Touch error - 80/80 - haven’t tested enough but u want free ball

            Ai behavior
            Tackle agg- 1 , have to set it so Ai tracks u , u still get fouls since buildup influences fouls
            Build up speed - 70 - most important - still testing but u go lower than 50 , it starts negatively affecting passing to defending to attack of Ai
            Shot freq- 90 - no hesitation to shoot on WC diff
            The rest all 50

            Matt I posted this so u can get even better results with this feedback

            I feel like fc AI not sophisticated enough where if u want good defense and attack AI to give up one or the other if u want Ai to slow build up also

            We just need to find a good value for build up slider where Ai still active in attack n defense and also builds up play realistically
            But I don’t think u can have both unfortunately with how it set up

              One thing I would change its make marking 60/60, better defending for 5 star teams as expected

                Very interesting changes and certainly worth looking into. I am not sold on the tackle aggression at 1 as I had tested that previously and mostly found lower tackle numbers with that as fouls are not influenced by that slider and I seen the backline exploits with it as well. I agree with the 60 for marking as I have been testing that from Aaron’s videos and made the change this past weekend.

                You may have found the key with the move to Acc at 45. I was thinking something that would cut down that boost that allows the cpu to just run by the CBs near the box. I know there are going to be players that can pull that off realistically and we need to find balance, but it is an exploit in its current state. I am going to test the 45acc along with the 60 marking and tackle aggression at 53 to see what results.

                  There are a few problems with dropping acc below 50 but the main one is that it makes stamina completely pointless. No one depletes.

                    Is that at a certain number or under 50 period? Do you recall the backline fix from the past? I think it may have been a few games ago, but I can’t remember the fix you all came up with exactly.

                      Please go over to Matt slider thread n read my posts

                      There is a rational behind my sliders
                      Tackles n closing down attackers are influenced mostly by build up slider

                      Also stamina definitely depletes abit slower but u still need to sub players in
                      Plus in 2nd half u can really tell a difference between new player vs fatigue one

                        For stamina depletion anything under 50 stops it and anything above 50 makes it drain faster. I wish they disconnected the two systems but they haven't for years. Some higher acc rates are nice because I like the immersion of squad rotation and stamina drain in years past but this year its well tuned at 50 over the course of a Career mode but if you drop below 50 it becomes a non factor.


                        Low Acc also causes problems for CB jockey and DAA as well. Its a really fine line with it.

                          If u set the Ai aggression to 1

                          The tackles n fouls are still there - it’s intertwine with the Ai build up slider

                          Just test my slider out
                          As exactly how it is

                          Just change marking to 55

                          You still get stamina depletion esp in high work rate players

                              Yeah cause that was pace 80 vs 95 in live form

                              That defender wasn’t ready and that attacker did like shoulder drop to confuse defender- this video posted was to showcase that goal variety in getting but look at other video defender gobble that attacker up

                              R u telling me in real life u never seen a defender left for dead when that out of position

                                Also if it was present the whole time how can that match ended in 1-1

                                Just test it for yourself , don’t just base it off one small clip

                                I have no reason to lie , but improve realism for community just like you doing
