Re: EA SPORTS FC25 OS Community Sliders
Just some observations that sliders don't seem to be able to fix.
1. Play runs are stiffeled by the new player roles. In most cases when an attacker gets the ball, midfielders will be reluctant to make runs beyond them. You cam see the animations forcing them to adhere to their player role and position. This can be good but also needs some common sense logic.
2. If you have more than one tactic created and swap between them, player roles revert to default (this is annoying)
3. Match sharpness doesn't seem to improve by 'playing matches' and solely relies on the training.
4. The AI suffer from the same restrictions as the player with the new player roles and keeping clean sheets on all difficulties seems to be quite easy to do. Scoring is a challenge which is good though.
5. I think this one could be fixed with sliders but then defeats the point of having the random element of dynamic or tactical. But I have seen some ridiculous chances blundered by the ai as they opt to pass or dribble when through on goal rather than shoot because their 'shooting slider is at 3' again it is not logical.
6. No matter the 'aggression slider' still barely get any tackles and haven't had a penalty in a full season I played so far. Unless of course you turn hand balls on. (This does seem slightly better than years gone by where you used to get 2 pens a game with handball.)Comment

Re: EA SPORTS FC25 OS Community Sliders
I am playing on WC with Simulation and tactical sliders. Because i use tactical sliders every game is different, but it is not because different tactic, it is because one game CPU is very fast, next game is very slow.
Also i don't know is real to fix it by sliders, but i tried different tactic and player roles and players don't try make runs and to be open to passes. I had stupid situation, when for RB was open corridor - but and he stood there. And this situations every game 3-4 times minimum.Comment

Re: EA SPORTS FC25 OS Community Sliders
I've played half a season already in my first career in EA FC 25 (8 minute halfs).
Started out playing with the simulation sliders and jumped to Matt's sliders as soon as the first WIP version was out. Only difference is I played Legendary instead of World Class.
Got to enjoy a lot Matt's sliders in Legendary, even won some big games, but it got to a point where I was without the ball for too long, too difficult to stop the fast passes of the CPU.
So I set it up in World Class for the last three or four games. I'm scoring and defending with more ease, wich is a win, but I would like like something in between what I'm getting in World Class and Legendary. Maybe when Matt's sliders come for the Legendary, who knows.
Anyways, would like to thank Matt and the community as a whole for another year of trying to turn this game into a fun and close to realistic experience. Been playing with these sliders since at least FIFA 21 and there is no life outside of here in the offline career mode.
Aside from all of these, I would like to say something about the weather condition effects in the game. Has anyone tried it? I found it very disturbing, even in the medium effects. How has it been for you guys?Comment

Re: EA SPORTS FC25 OS Community Sliders
Personally, if it's a rain game I'll probably increase the wind to medium and see what happens. I don't need EAs interpretation of how weather affects player animations lol

Re: EA SPORTS FC25 OS Community Sliders
Just a note about Ai Behavior Sliders
For now we are testing the game with them on Custom and 50 for every slider because we are trying to isolate the Gameplay sliders, get the game in a good spot before we introduce the variable game to game with the tactical or dynamic AI Behavior settings.
If you are playing with tactical sliders right now then yes each game is going to feel different because these sliders change, sometimes drastically, from team to team.
Please remember this.Comment

Re: EA SPORTS FC25 OS Community Sliders
Im playing with matts sliders now, 15 minute halfs, full manual, on legendary. CPU sliders are at custom, all 50.
Shot speed is 48, pass speed user is 35, pass speed cpu is 20. Im playing in league 2 with a created club and honestly it feels like a lot of fun, even when losing. Its a challenge to score and defend, especially on full manual. Goals are very rewardingComment

Re: EA SPORTS FC25 OS Community Sliders
Everyone go put acceleration to 0 on the main menu sliders and then go to career mode in game and set the acceleration 99 and post your findings.Comment

Re: EA SPORTS FC25 OS Community Sliders
Why? That sounds crazy and what would it even achieve other than stupid fast accelerationComment

Re: EA SPORTS FC25 OS Community Sliders
I suspect the sliders are broken and by doing what I suggested, I would like to see how often it happens. The game seems to be locked to the main menu sliders and when you are in career mode they cannot be changedComment

On the other side, you raised a point of concert. If main sliders affect career sliders we're screwed!Comment

Re: EA SPORTS FC25 OS Community Sliders
You're wrong and there is a simple way to prove that. Just change acc to 0 in career main menu and start a match. Changes inside the match won't affect the current match.

Re: EA SPORTS FC25 OS Community Sliders
I've noticed something regarding teams that play a back 3 or a back 5 with the fullbacks pushed up into more attacking positions...there seems to be too much space between defenders and often, counters and speedy attackers cannot be stopped. I think this is mostly because of the speed discrepancy between attacker and defender (which is good, in my opinion) and that there is too much ground to cover for a defender. This has been true even in set ups that have the wingbacks tracking back. I've included a photo for reference.Attached FilesComment
