what does the compare option mean when scouting players?

You select one player and hit compare, then when you view the stats of any other player it will overlay the original player's stats so that you can view them side by side. It's only really useful if you've scouted the players to the point that you can see their individual attributes (or if you're viewing your own players).

I just got this game the other day trading in FIFA and I'm loving the masterleague. I started one with Napoli in the Italian league using latest and best file playing on top player and profesional. This game is a lot more addicting and enjoyable to me than FIFA so far... I haven't even touched become a legend mode... I wonder how this mode compares to Masterleague mode?
