It looks like that one which I saw yesterday is not the U.S. version. Do they not make a U.S. version and it's only European version?

just downloaded pellegrini's OF vers 6...will install tonight when i get home from work.

said i needed DLC from december...how do I go about getting that? is there an option in a game menu or will it attempt to update automatically?

You have to manually download Konami's DLC. I think it is under "extra content" (or something like that) in the main menu. Title updates (ie, patches) are automatic.

I don't know if there's a difference between the PC versions. I'm hoping a PC user chimes back in here that can answer it.

As far as I thought, the PC version was the PC version. I didn't know there were European and US PC versions as well.

I wasn't sure either. The one on Amazon has some EU logos, but wasn't sure how many versions there were out there.

I've made some decent progress so far with this option file. I'm running into a small problem is that I'm not finding some kits as png's so I'm trying to recreate with what we have there.

So far I have the teams all named, stadiums created to look as authentic as possible even though stadium editor is limited, and half of the teams kits are already created. Once I finish the kits, my plan is to go through and rename every single player and that will be all for version 1 of the option file.

Then I'm thinking that version 2 will be fixing player likeness if I can find images of the players to get them accurate.

Does anyone know when importing other people's option files, do we lose the ability for Trophies? I've read around that some people have and some haven't. I guess it is wise not to copy the person's "System Data" file which will cause this issue. Any help would be great on this?

Yeah, don't mess with the 'System Data'. If you do, like by trying to copy someone else's, you'll lose your trophies.

This is why when people put up OFs for others to download, they explicitly avoid including the 'System Data' file in the d/l packs.

Sorry, I don't want to scour through all the posts. This may have been asked already. Are there any option files (rosters/teams; don't care about faces) for PS3 user in USA with US version?

If not, will the UK version work on my U.S. PS3?

I've noticed there's a lot more updated downloadable game content for the BLES01022 version of the game than both BLES01021 & BLES01020. The only BLES01021 option file I've seen is the one from the 1st post in this thread. Weird there's no more content available for other EU versions.

On the above note:

Does anybody know where to find an option file for BLES01021 with MLS teams named and all national teams named as well? I can't find one over at psgaming. There has to be one somewhere for this version. Thanks!

Once you start playing ML, players are going to move around anyway, so unless the new DLC improves game play, I could care less about new boots.

I'm using Pele's OF and if the DLC will screw up the OF, I don't think it's worth it.

DLC doesn't affect gameplay. It adds new boots, a few new preset faces, fixes transfers from the Winter window, and maybe some stats updates (although that may not have happened this time around, according to what I'm reading).

The thing you could do is continue playing with your existing file. I'm sure Pelegrini's updating his file so it's compatible with the DLC (ie, moving players around, fixing things that get scrambled, etc.). When he releases the DLC-compatible version, you could then d/l the DLC and be good to go.

How does one go about putting accurate signs in a stadium? (PS3)

I'm using an OF and I play with Liverpool. I created Anfield using the XB360 data from pesgaming.com, so it's not completely accurate for the PS3.

Has anyone else created Anfield and what settings did you use?
