    I use Ortegaz's converter:

It's a spreadsheet. Put in the attributes and then click the appropriate position for conversion. Straight forward.

    Also see here:

When doing FM conversions, I often put a floor under certain stats (and, to some extent, a ceiling). I don't take the conversions as gospel, in other words. Sometimes the conversions just don't make much sense and so I'll often make adjustments based on logic and intuition, using things like age, height/weight, player reputation, what position he plays, etc. to even things out a little bit. I generally find FM conversions to be a bit inconsistent, and often things like speed/athleticism don't come out that clearly in them. Still, they're a useful tool, especially when you're trying to come up with info on players you're not all that familiar with.

Thanks for those links. I see what you mean about having to tweak the stats a bit but those tools are a huge help. Got a little system down and it shouldn't take too long to do one team.

EDIT: how the heck do you get the stitching on the kits (around the underarms, shoulder/chest area) so perfect?? That's where I'm struggling. I'm trying to paint a straight line and it just ain't happening for me.

I don't do kits...basically look for other, more experienced people to do them. So I'm not gonna be much help in this area.

fcpappin has a thread for NASL/USL-Pro kits on pesgaming, but it doesn't look like he's posted anything for USL as yet:

In general, PESGaming is probably the best place to go for help with kits. I'm not sure if you're registered over there, or if you even want to, but that's the resource I'd recommend for help/advice/requests.

It's a royal PITA if you ask me. I received the GSL kits from a guy at WeHellas, so all I had to work on was the shorts and part of the shoulders, etc.

If anything, the renaming was the worst part of the whole deal. I am almost done with my first year of ML using GSL, but I think I'm going to erase all the files and load up Connoll's latest MLS file. I will back up what I have done........just wish there was an easier way to do all this. I think on the PS2 there was a PC editor which made things very easy.

What I really like about PES over FIFA is that it is very European soccer driven, especially with the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Super Cup being licensed. Now I just wish that we had more slots to add more leagues and more options to make the MLS league more realistic since it causes an issue with the D2 league.

What issue are you talking about zombie? I haven't encountered any problems.

No prob. You might want to hold off on a major outlay of labor, though (see below).

The Euro-focus, especially for the Master League, is a major double-edged sword. Great if you want to add/edit Euro leagues, less great if you want to add something else. One of the reasons I've never been all that motivated to add something to the other blank league on my file, for instance, is that once you add something like MLS, the realism factor goes down significantly. I've never been all that interested seeing FC Dallas facing off against Inter in the Champions League Semis.

For anyone interested in USL or NASL, you might want to check this out:

                Option File update!

Within 2 or 3 days I will upload Beta Version of option file compatible with for the March DLC.

                This will include:
All MLS Teams up to date thanks to connoll3/bolivian's MLS OF!
8 NASL Teams (up to date with available player stats. Majority of notable players are there though mainly new players from US College or lower American divisions *below PDL are not in file)
                Atlanta Silverbacks
                FC Edmonton
                Fort Lauderdale Strikers
                Montreal Impact
                NSC Minnesota Stars
                Puerto Rico Islanders
                FC Tampa Bay

                10 USL Pro Teams
                Antigua Barracuda
                Orlando City SC
                Rochester Rhinos
                Charlotte Eagles
                Charleston Battery
                Dayton Dutch Lions
                Los Angeles Blues
River Plate Puerto Rico* (most likely will be replaced next update)
                Pittsburgh Riverhounds
                Richmond Kickers

*Some of the USL Pro Teams are not 100% complete such as Antugua Barracuda/Dayton Dutch Lions/ LA Blues but should be for the next update.

NOTE: All teams have full kits, emblems and the mls teams have stadiums which are done to the best of my abilities. I also created a few generic smaller stadiums for the NASL/USL Pro teams and Saputo Stadium for the Impact (MLS next year)
So If you want to use this for English Premier League, Spanish Liga I wouldn't I had to use emblem spots for these teams and most transfers are not up to date.

Hope to post download link within a couple days!

LOL. This is probably going to compete with my file, but looks to be of interest nonetheless.

Next update from BolivianFire & I probably will be later on in the week, and will include the full NASL.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but when I tried to run a ML say with the GSL which is in the main edit league and I have the MLS in D2.......for the Greek Super Cup, I get teams from both the GSL and D2 (MLS) playing games against each other.

For roster editing, it is royal PITA and takes hours upon hours to name players and give them their attributes. If there was a PC editor, it would be so awesome. But I bet it wouldn't work with the PS3 due to the structure of the file save system.

No, you're not doing anything wrong. That's just the way the game is set up. For the Cups in the fake leagues, teams from both of the leaues compete for it. So if you wanted a somewhat real Greek Super Cup, you would have to make the D2 league into the Greek second league.

Damn, that file looks good. And I was just about done with the LA Blues kits. I trust your stat editing and knowledge however so I look forward to your update as well.

Apologize to your thumbs in advance. That's what I'm gonna do.

fcpappin helped me with some NASL stuff, but we largely did work independently on our files. So I'm curious what his OF is like, but I won't really get a chance to sit down with it until next week.

Bump. Another update to the file has been posted (version 1.2).

                              Details on this version:

                              - 8 NASL clubs added, with full kits. Montreal emblem included; rest of NASL clubs have a generic league emblem. (Big thanks to fcpappin for help with the NASL)
                              - Updated relevant CONCACAF sides for the Gold Cup (full update for Canada, Mexico, & US; Honduras & Costa Rica updated partially).
                              - Updated a few NT kits.
                              - MLS rosters made current as of June 3rd.
                              - Continued alterations to MLS player stats, boots, & accessories. MLS formations and lineups adjusted with Gold Cup departures in mind, as well.

See here for full details and relevant download links:

Enjoy. And feedback's always welcome, but especially so with the NASL work -- recommendations, corrections, critiques, whatever. Thanks in advance.

I checked out his option file briefly. Been busy but I did review my G's and LA Blues. Overall, it's pretty good. He's missing Lopez on the G's and the formations/tactics are a bit questionable and obviously the Blues is still a work in progress as he mentioned. The kits look great though and the stats seem about right. I look forward to his updates.
