Re: MLS OF for PES 2011 (PS3)

Just bought a copy off of Amazon and should have it by Tuesday or Wednesday of this week.

Quick question: Can I download this file and use it with a regular PS3 with no mods? Thanks as I am just trying to learn what I need to do to make this work.

Yes. Browse around on pesgaming for a bunch of great files and installation instructions as well. Oh and I highly recommend this mls file. Connoll does an excellent job and really pays attention to details.

You don't need anything special to be able to load this, or any other, option file. No mods or anything. You just need a usb stick.

Two other things to keep in mind:

        1) the option file you're trying to load needs to correlate with the downloadable content (DLC) that Konami releases periodically. Most option files, like this one, are orientated around the latest DLC -- Data Pack 7.00, which was released in March. You can download the DLC via the 'Extra Content' --> 'Data Pack' menus within the PES game itself. And you should update your game with the DLC before you try loading an option file.

        2) the option files need to be compatible with the game you have -- ie, the region coding. Presumably, you'll be interested in the US version, so be sure to double check the labeling on the OF. Don't try loading an European option file for an American game, for instance. It won't work.

See here for relatively straight-forward instructions on how to load option files:

As 'raider said, your best bet is to browse over in the PESGaming section on completed option files for an idea of what else is out there. That's here:

If you have any further problems or questions, let me know.

Thanks I seriously can't wait for my copy to arrive. I have FIFA 11 and with these additions to PES 11 I couldn't resist.

Unfortunatley, you cannot mix n match option files and use them simultaneously. However, you can create another user profile on your PS3 and install another option file there.

I created several profiles and have connoll's MLS OF, a mexican league OF, and now fcpappin's North America file.

What 'raider said. One option file for each User Name on the PS3. If you want to use multiple files, you'll have to create multiple User Names.

Thanks. This game looks awesome. This should be the most underrated sports game. It has the power to do alot of stuff. Too bad you can only do one patch per user but that's fine

I've followed all instructions and it still won't show the files unless under video on the PS3.

Cool, 'cause I wasn't sure what to say next besides "make sure you're uploading under the correct menu" and "try it again."

Once I loaded the game onto the system, it suddenly recognized the files. Great job by the way as it was awesome to play some MLS last night

If anyone's interested, fcpappin has released a stadium pack over at PESGaming with most of the MLS stadia rendered, plus a few USL/NASL stand-ins. Details and a download link are available here:

The file is somewhat large, but the installation process is relatively straight-forward. Just wanted to highlight it for any interested parties.
