Fouls?

I just bought this game,so far though 5 games i have yet to see a good amount of on the ball fouls.so has anyone seen a real amount of fouls? or should i mess with the in game settings?

I usually average 5-7 fouls a game on Top Player but there are games where I get 3-4 total fouls.

I was just thinking this the other night after playing several ML games in a row.

Some games had 4-6 total fouls and the most I had combined in a game was about 11 or 13. Not enough in my book. Which leads to not enough free kicks/set pieces. I play on Regular or Professional on 15 minutes.

I am still having a great time with this game though.

Its weird....i bought this game for the realism factor.......but i have Fifa and i get more fouls in Fifa than i do pes11.im stumpted.

No, there's not a lot of fouls, but I take the trade-off because the CPU buries every free kick around the box.

yeah, i am disappointed in the fouls...

not only the seeming lack of them, as I loved WE9 which seemed to be perfect...but my biggest gripe are the ridiculous looking end-over-end tumbles that happen ALL THE TIME...

they just look stupid.

Neither game does fouls right. Which undermines the importance of set pieces. A lot of people complained about the large amount of fouls in PES 5 but I loved it. It made you really pay attention on defence and you really felt the tension when taking or giving away a last minute free kick.

This is one of the few areas that is holding this game back from being outstanding. I enjoy it, but I would really enjoy it more if there were more fouls called.

Options are a gamer's best friend. We like having our options on how we want it to play.

I still don't understand why PES or FIFA has yet to implement sliders? That would be huge.

On the fouls topic, the pes 2011 pc demo had a gang of fouls in it. I liked it actually. Don't know why they reverted back to few fouls in the final release

It's wierd isn't it? The FIFA and PES teams don't seem open to the idea of sliders at all. I honestly can't see how it would be a bad thing.

Just imagine being able to crank an 'Attribute effect' slider and how you could maximise the individuality of players.
