    Online

This is from a former avid PES player who turned to FIFA in recent years. I'm thinking about making the jump back to PES, but I have a question about the online.

I know the online for this game used to be really poor back in the day and I've heard it hasn't gotten much better. But I wanted to hear it from you guys, how is the online experience with the latest PES, and what is said to be expected for the upcoming edition?

    Re: Online

Konami has really been on the hush about online so much can't be said yet, I would expect minor improvements though.

I didn't have hardly any problems with 2011 outside of the normal (playing vs Barca/Real). The lag this year for me was relatively non-existent. I only played H2H thought, not any Master League online.

Did you play with PS3 or Xbox 360? And was your experience the norm for online gamers, or was it a mixed bag?

Thanks for the feedback. It is much appreciated as I am a broke college kid trying to buy the best soccer game this year, and I don't think I can't afford both since I'm getting Battlefield 3 and graduating this semester.

This year Xbox. It wasn't as bad as FIFA where it's all out sprint. I'm not a huge online player normally but I didn't experience the lag that some people have. I thought it was relatively easy to find a match too but I didn't play too much online at release. Your option file will work online too.

What if I change who's on USA's team, would the option file still work with real names, different players and real jerseys? Or is it just limited to aesthetics?

            Thank you!

              Re: Online

PES is the better game. This comes from someone who was an avid Fifa player and fan until, I was introduced into the "Winning Eleven" series. The concept about Football and the immersion is very deep in PES.
Only respectable people deserve respect, you destroyed the game.

Master League Online Coach Mode is so much fun. Lag isn't an issue because it is based on tactis and lineups.

I'm more into 1-v-1 gaming online. How are servers? Any lag? And what about my previous questions on option files, real names, different rosters, etc.?

Well your option file taken online will keep the name changes (I think) and kits but any transfers or changing national call ups will not go through online unless Konami adds an update itself.
