I want goalkeepers that don't parry every slow roller that moves through the box - resulting in a rebound goal (namely 5 of them in the same game). Reminded me of how goalkeeping was in FIFA 10 (where every goal was usually a rebound goal as well).

I'll be playing some more matches of the demo - but my first impressions were not good.

I agree, I think they could use some improvement. But there are certainly games where they play just fine to me, had a game the other night Barca v Madrid, played on 15 min halves and the keepers stole the show. There was a combined 34 shots and only 4 goals, ended up wining in PK's.

I have those moments where I'm asking myself what is my goalie thinking and a lot of times it seems like they should catch it when they don't.

I agree. One of my complaints is that the keepers do parry it when they should just catch it, but as you said I'll also go a few games with no keeper issues.

Can someone explain what the slider is for passing assist? Its got like 4 or 5 dashes

And where do you guys have it set?

The lower class keepers (79 and under) should be able to have the same saving and catching moves like the better ones too. They seem handicapped in this area, which shouldn't be the case.

If you have more dashes, passes will be more assisted, easier to get to the target. 0 dashes means manual passes.

It controls how much the cpu assists your passing accuracy. Set it to 0 and it's basically full manual passing. I just keep mine at 2.

Another thing I wanted to mention is that this game does an excellent job of factoring in form to determine how well your team will perform. Thats why every game always feels different and probably why the keepers are off sometimes.

Enjoyed my best game so far with a 4-0 victory with Inter over Rangers. Everything just flowed really well. Next game against them was 0-0 and the Inter squad was all over the place.

I also noticed after playing a lot of games using Inter, Spurs, etc. Libertadores teams plays very differently. I actually got beat 4-0 last night by Americas, trying the same tactics playing Inter.

Same thing happened to me, lol I love it. For Internacional, after a couple of bashings by Club America I noticed their strength lies in their midfield with D'Alessandro,Tinga, Adrezinho, and Ze Roberto as all capable midfielders. I ended up messing with tactics and focusing their build up through the middle and saw immediate results. I love how awesome the tactics work this year in correspondent to the Active AI. I hope some of you guys here give the tactics and formations a chance because I can see it really unlocking the games true potential. When the full retail comes out, I will most certainly will be doing formations for a few of my favorite teams and posting it here for you guys to enjoy.
