I am assumming FIFA is like all EAsports ultimate teams where you buy points/etc and build an all star team. In PES, you have to win games and sign players to contracts, etc and build up from scratch. I've been addicted to PES MLO and this is my first soccer game in 10 years. I dont even know much about the strategy but it has my spending an hour or two a night just tweaking my strategy and staring at a screen. I enjoy it.

(BTW- i was a lousy manager to start and reset my sqaud last night. I cut too many players and bought too many good players. Eventually got to the point where i couldnt afford to keep resigning players and my sqaud was terrible.)

That's what makes this mode so much fun. It tales time to build up a really good squad. I have been learning that you need to slowly replace one player with another that is slightly better when their contract runs out. Only a few guys I will keep for maybe 20 or more games, but most the time when their contract is set to expire I release and sign someone a bit better. Then I build up some money and repeat.

Tried this as a time waster untill more detailed OF's come out, but it looks like I will be playing this all year. It's very addicting and super fun when you find good players.

Demble and Shurlle(sp) are also great signings, they are fairly cheap and are rated 80 when played on the wings.
I'm still looking for the right formation and keep switching it up.

Welp, I'm nearly done with this mode.

As much as I love building teams, playing against the same guys every match gets old quick. In my last 5 games, each team has had the same strikers, which is awesome.

Also, the matchmaking blows, universally, not just MLO, but that's for another day.

agreed. hoping this is fixed with thursdays update. My team is terrible and i keep gettin matched up with superstar teams. Not my preference.

At least you guys can get matched up.

I leave all my matchmaking specs open, and it gets back after 5 minutes and says no one is available at this moment.

It's like unless someone else is playing in australia, the matchmaker doesn't recognise them as suitable?!!

I played a few games on the weekend, and it was hell addictive.

Coach Mode is the best way to get games. I have no issues finding someone to play, regardless of the time.

I'm slowly coming around to the idea that the overall rating isn't very important.

I've had to dig a little deeper to find individual attributes that I'm looking for, which may mean a lower overall rating sometimes, but my team has played better.

I miss the days of the skill hexagon.

I haven't touched MLO in a week or so. I started my own league and haven't missed it.

I do not miss playing against Eto'o every game, that's for sure.
