I got PES 2014 for Christmas on the Xbox 360. It was playing fine for the first day, and then I downloaded the excruciatingly long data packs. I then used an option file by DJ Daymos, to get the correct teams, kits, etc. Ever since I downloaded the data packs and the option file, the game has been incredibly slow. It takes much longer now to start up from the Dashboard, and before a match when the screen showing the teams in the introduction is playing it doesn't advance past that screen for several minutes, and if I hit start to skip past the players walking out and the lineups being shown, then it takes a while for that to load as well. Does anybody know what would cause this, or what I could do to fix this? Thanks all.

Unfortunately, it is something you will have to get used to this year if you choose to download the official data packs and custom option files. It was poor programming on Konami's part. If it were not for the most realistic box to box gameplay available, I would have ditched this game until the next-gen version comes out this fall, and that's only if Konami takes a long hard look at the half product they gave us in PES 2014 and correct all these bugs and slowdowns!
