Some general PES questions for a potential new user...

So I've played the demo a bit, really like what I see. PES is clearly the more realistic simulation, tho I do enjoy FIFA and it definitely has a major fun factor. As someone who's going to buy FIFA to at the very least tide myself over till PES comes out, I have some questions I have to ask that are very important to me in FIFA. Any input is greatly appreciated!

    1. I understand there isn't likely to be share files on the PS4 anytime soon. Is there a comprehensive list out of leagues or teams available for this years game? Is it going to be similar to this? http://www.onlyproevolutions.com/201...-revealed.html

    2. Understanding there isn't a real english league and I'd have to manually edit each team I've got a couple questions. Are the fake teams and players at least based on real life counterparts like say the NCAA football series did in the past? Or are they too all generic? Are these fake teams used online?

    3. Is there an equivalent to FIFA's online seasons mode? Love that mode...

    4. How does the franchise/be a GM mode compare to FIFA's.

    5. Another question I see that has been confirmed is second tier leagues. That's great news assuming the second tier Italian league made the cut.

That's all I can think of for now, but I'll see if anything else creeps into my head. Let me know OS!

Re: Some general PES questions for a potential new user...

Here’s a quick stab at it. Anyone else want to update/correct me feel free.
    1. Should be fairly similar with the addition of all major 2nd tiers.

    2. The players will be real but Liverpool will be “Merseyside Red” for example. I’m not sure how option files will work, if they work at all, for PS4/XB1 but on the PS3/360 they carried over online.

    3. Konami have been pretty quiet so far in announcing new modes. The only new mode I have seen is something called “Role Control” and it was briefly mentioned by a youtuber.

    4. It used to be pretty good until FIFA revamped theirs a few years back. FIFA 14’s career mode blew PES 2014’s out of the water. Advanced scouting, in-depth contracts, etc… weren’t in PES 2014.

    5. That is correct. 2nd tiers will be added although the details of which one’s and whether or not they’re licensed hasn’t been announced yet to my knowledge.

There’s still a lot of time left until it gets released so the news should be rolling pretty fast for the next 1.5 months. OS & their community will be on top of it.

Thanks for the input. I found this article: http://brutalgamer.com/2014/08/18/pe...ils-announced/.

I see online divisions which sounds a little like seasons mode...but not sure.

Some things I might be able to help with.

There'll be 2nd Division teams, for the first time, in this years edition and it will be most from France, Italy and Spain.

As far as option files goes.
It seems like it might not be possible for PS4(not sure about X1) but some on the pesgaming forums are discussing about it and believe that you can use your USB stick to upload things to the ps4, just like it was possible with the PS3.

Anything else has been nicely answered by KG.
