Here is something about new PS4 firmware update by IGN. (2.0 update as they mentioned)

*You can connect a USB hard drive to your PS4 to play certain types of files off of the drive, specifically music-related file extensions like MP3, MP4, and M4A.

*Game saves, screenshots, and captured video can now transferred to and stored on external USB-connected devices for safe-keeping and later use.

Does this mean anything regarding option file transfer?

It could, Koami could patch in the image import in the game once this releases. It is not all hopeless for Next Gen option files.

Reading Daymos Twitter; looks like there will be a way to share Option files on the PS4. Hopefully the new patch makes it even more possible

Isn't he only talking about sharing save data and not image files? So we'll have correct teams, squad,leagues, etc... but still no image files for kits.

I believe so but after reading more into I believe what he's trying to do is mod the game to allow him to swap fake emblems for real emblems. Not sure about kits though.

Just to clarify...Will we have Option Files for PES15 On PS4 based on the above youtube link??

Personally, if I am not able to download all the real kits and team names, there is no point in playing

Whether or not the gameplay is way better than FIFA

FIFA15 with Matt10's sliders is a massive upgrade on the out of the box FIFA

for those of you that have PS3 still... I would maybe just get this for that if options files are that important to you. I never posted this but from my experience with the demos... I played PES 2015 on both PS3 and Xbox one and I honestly thought the game was better on PS3 for some reason as far as how great it controlled. I no longer have PS3 though only the Xbox one so I will get the retail game on that. I think I will be satisfied from what I have read so far even without option files. I thought the demos were good but I'm hearing the retail version is much better than the demo which is a good sign. I might just keep FIFA as well. I dunno why I keep buying both every year... I can't help myself lol

I for one can still play the game without option file if the gameplay is very good. I don't need that to make the game playable for me honestly.. does it suck that it doesn't have it? Yes, but if the gameplay is great I will still play it that's for sure and the myclub mode looks cool if online is playable. one thing I love about the PES over FIFA besides just some of the gameplay is the tactics always work much better on how you play and also how the computer AI teams play against you. this is the one reason why the longevity of me playing this game offline is longer than FIFA.. I'm a little bored of playing the FIFA offline already for reasons related to that. I guess basically what I'm saying.. is I get bored playing the FIFA AI quicker than I do in PES. however, FIFA has good online so that is a game saver for me usually but for some reason I'm sick of online already too because it seems to arcadish sometimes without all the sliders although it still is very fun.

i hope PES isn't as laggy this year online now that I have xbox one. the myclub mode looks like it can be a good times if isn't as laggy as it was on PS3 PES online

How can I Import this file ?

In the PS Menu it finds nothing, also ingame.

I use the PS4 US download Version.

Rename the "CUSA01042" File to "CUSA01076"

I found this out by importing my edit data to a USB stick and then putting his into my folder.

But, I got an error message, when I tried to upload it. Oh well, back to the drawing board.

Yeah now I receive "An Error has occurred (CE-33116-4)"

Paul2478 over at PESGaming sad that as of right now sharing option files isn't possible. So, I guess we can use this thread for data to share as a community. KG shared this in another thread, and since I was looking all day for this, I figured others might be doing the same...

It's a shame there is no true option file this year (yet, fingers crossed). There are so many things that you can edit.
