There were no "gameplay" updates in this patch. I have verified it with Konami. The "gameplay" items that the patch notes refer to have to deal with myClub:

"... as it provided updates regarding team requirement regulated competitions and also enabled CPU competitions, which would be considered “other gameplay improvements”

Did they improve the Goalkeepers? I haven't played the game after the patch, busy playing NBA2k15 and The Talos Principle. I just saw this:

At this point, I'd rather see keepers with super cat-like reflexes than horrible GKs. I'm already sick of scoring (and being scored on) by gently tapping the shooting button in the box. There's gotta be a better balance
