    Kit Question

I will likely be getting Fifa 15 for Christmas but after reading and watching reviews i'm pretty sure i'll trade it in for PES 15.

My question is around kits. I've been looking around the internet and this forum but can't seem to find a concrete answer.

Is it possible to import someone else's kits on the ps4?...or will all uniforms need to be created myself?

thanks for any responses...and i'll keep digging through forums

    Re: Kit Question

Gotta make them yourself. Don't count the possibility of option files as a reason to get PES on the PS4 as it is very unlikely to happen.

Regarding making the kits yourself: it isn't bad. I actually enjoyed doing the premiership kits. Takes a bit over an hour to do, but feels fairly quick.

      Re: Kit Question

      I agree with kashik.

If you ever did kit editing before its the same as now basically. This makes me remember earlier days when I did the kits myself.

Its a weird kind of fulfillment when you turn the fake kits into real looking kits.

And while it does take a bit of time, just do it in sections and play a little. Like do half the skybet and play with a few teams you edited, then do the other half another night and so on.

While I would really really like to see the badges editable so pregame it looked correct the missing sponsors is less of a big deal because once you start a match you barely notice the logos missing.

This game really is so much better than fifa.

I cant stop playing it. Its about a correct patch or 2 away from being stellar.

I can see creating kits being fun but I also don't have a ton of free time to play to begin with. So if I start a career mode and slowly edit the jerseys they will transition within my ongoing league too?

What about the players...I assume they look different too

Not sure all modes accept the edits as you go but every mode I am playing does.

Started a league with espanyol, they had the kobami boots on so after 2 matches I changed them to real life boots.

Next league match they had on what I edited.

          Worked in master league too.

My guess is it works everywhere but I cant say it does 100% until I play more modes.

            Re: Kit Question

The only bad thing the the jersey creation is that you can not edit the emblems. So i'm stuck with the "Merseyside Blues" emblem for my Everton club. It sucks, but the gameplay is far superior to FIFA that it takes the sting away a bit.

              Re: Kit Question

So two years ago I had PES and we could upload kits. I'm guessing they got in trouble for that functionality?

Anyway...i am leaning towards PES because at the end of the day gameplay is everything.

One other question...are the leagues set up the same? So the EPL is the same with the tournaments...etc?

              Thanks again

Agreed. Got it for Xmas and like it a lot better than FIFA.

The kits, player faces (tho premier league face are fairly good), hair, apparel mods, and boots will all change in your master league when you edit even if it is a previously started league. The one thing that won't correspond is attributes. You would have to start a new league to reflect that.

Anyways...you've made a wise decision with PES. I'm a long time...and I mean from the first of the franchise FIFA player. Made the switch after trading in FIFA 15 (after the PES demo) and there is not a snow ball chance in he'll of go back. The realism of the play style, the ball weight, the power of the shots, and the main thing...the tactics you are able to edit and maneuver in PES are light years past what FIFA offers..and let's be honest, that's what makes a great club system great.

I had not played a soccer game in a while when i ended up getting PES 12 (i believe it was or 13). It certainly didn't look as good but there was just so much more variety to scoring and the game itself. Yes it had a lot of flaws but the games themselves felt better and i only play offline.

Fifa 14 was very good IMO but from everything i've heard fifa 15 is a stepback gameplay wise. Not having the licenses does suck...like i said i don't have a ton of free time to edit jerseys...but if i can do one a night and it reflects on my league that is worthwhile.

Got PES this morning, loving it! I've got FIFA 14 and Brazil 2014 WC, fun games, but I like PES gameplay much better.

It does work everywhere. Same thing if you add gloves, change the sleeves or hairstyle etc. Been this way for years.

                            Use youtube.

Punch in a search like this

                            Pes 2015 arsenal kit

Then check that users videos for all the other kits. There are at least 3 kit makers on youtube and you can choose the one who made kits you like.

Oh and I just noticed I made a thread just a bit lower than this one that contains all the kit notes I had written down from youtube vids. Thats a good place to start.
