@Fellow PES Brethren:

I wanted to check in and see if any of you have implemented Klashman69's team tactics (FYI - I'm on the PS4)...

I was wondering if it is possible to adjust the CPU's tactics and that they actually use it in your Master League, exhibition, etc... I saw in a previous thread that you can actually turn team's fluid formation 'on' or 'off'... is that correct?

I'm having an absolute blast with the PES demo, but if your able to implement these individualized tactics, then I'm definitely going to take the plunge and purchase! Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I'm pretty sure you can do it manually in edit mode, but it'll take a lot of time...
Btw, I'm using his gameplan for milan with a few tweaks for a while, and it feels really nice and realistic.

Awesome to hear my friend .... I'm willing to do the edits manually as long as the CPU will use the tactics ... Just want to make sure all the work needed to do this, will not be for nothing if the CPU doesn't implement the tactics.

The thing with Klashman69's tactics is that he is going to attempt to do 'real-time' updates which is awesome!

The tactics dont need changed. But if you were gonna do it, say u were playing Man United next, you would back out of ML, and go to edit mode, edit their tactics, and then go back into ML and play them and if Newcastle was next thwn you would change them...

But in all honesty, the DEMO is not even a close repersentation of the actual game. With my exp of the game, teams play different tactically. Some teams will be long balling the whole game, some game will tica taca, some teams will Play a slow possession game.

So idk why you would want to change tactics.

One thing i do know is after implementing klashmans tactics you dont get teams like Arsenal playing in their back line 90 minutes of the game with no ergency to get forward.

But after the last update its all back to default and i dont know if i have the energy to do it again.
Maybe if i see too many teams playing keepy uppy in their own half i will.

Yeah his tactics fix the a lot of issues with the default formations for many teams. I noticed many teams (Atletico Madrid) set with FEW players going forward which leads to constant passing in their own half and not many chances created.

Also to save your time, I recommend exporting/importing the team data before applying the update, doesn't take too long but it saves time inputting all that data again.

The tactics are pretty good. That said, some teams play fine with their default tactics and don't need to be changed at all.

I have now applied the 1.04 Update with the new data pack 4.0....Gameplay is fantastic, but I know that implementing Klashman's tactics can make it even better....

When you say 'exporting/importing the team data'...What do you mean? I'm new to PES in regards to editing and such so want to make sure all the work I put in won't be deleted after an update gets applied (if ever)....

You can go to the edit file and choose to save it so that updates won't override your changes. The previous Konami updates had an issue with overwriting people's edits but this last one seemed to work just fine. All of the player/accessory edits I made stood.

Thanks for the info my friend! Will definitely start editing formations for a couple of teams to see how it works out gameplay wise.

Used the tactics guide for Arsenal and Liverpool. It was a fun game. I guess until Konami gets around to fixing fouls and crossing, this is as good as it gets.
